I know this guilt is mine to shoulder,
in this mind ravaged by storms
and tumultuous breaking of
vicious whitecaps.
Lost amidst a sea of indecision.
To love or to cast away.
Oh, my headaches seem
so distant
when I'm breathing you in.
The chemicals give me headaches,
but the sweetness
numbs the pain.
As I pull my lifesaver closer
and drown within it
Oh, my headaches seem
So inviting
When my insides fill with
water.
