I remember the words you said to me
That evening when you approached me in my room
The voices were singing to you
Chanting
Drink this poison,
Choke it down,
Soon enough you'll start to drown.
It's what you wanted
It's just what you need
So just give in
To this eternal sleep.
They told you to drown yourself in
Your pain
And you may have been left with some
Scars
But you told them you knew how to swim
And I thank you for that everyday
