9. Trouble

Meek and I sat in my bed waiting for my pregnancy test results. I was scared because I did not want a baby, especially when Meek doesn't even love me. I wasn't mad at him because he didn't love me. I don't love him either. I was mad at myself for allowing me being pregnant to even be possible when I've only been knowing this man for a few months.

Nicki- has it been 7 minutes yet?

Meek- I think so

I took a need breath before getting up to go to the bathroom.

Meek- what does it say?

Nicki- it's negative" I said throwing the test in the trash.

Meek- you happy aint you?

Nicki- I guess

Meek- so you wanted to be pregnant

Nicki- no, but we would have made it work if I was right?

Meek- I mean of course, but you don't need to be skipping pills no more

Nicki- I didn't skip I just forgot to take it

Meek- well maybe you should get another kind then

Nicki- I won't need it" I whispered under my breath

Meek- what you mean you won't need it?

Nicki- you heard that?

Meek- yeah, now explain

Nicki- well I don't plan on us having sex any time soon.

Meek- I'm a man Nicki

Nicki- what is that supposed to mean

Meek- that means if I have a girlfriend I wanna have sex with her

Nicki- then maybe you shouldn't have me as your girlfriend then" I said with an attitude

Meek- come here baby

Nicki- no, your pissing me off

He grabbed me and held me in a bear hug

Meek- I didn't mean it like that

Nicki- well how did you mean it then?

Meek- I just... You know what, if you don't wanna have sex then I guess I'm cool with that. But baby you gotta understand that I won't wait forever.

Nicki- nobody said you had too. I just want you to see me as more than sex

Meek- and I do

Nicki- well I need you to prove it

Meek- how can I do that?

Nicki- by waiting

Meek- whatever you want" he said kissing me

Nicki- thank you, and since we have nothing to do how about you take me on a date

Meek- I can do that, but I don't have no clothes

Nicki- well I'll just pack a bag and change at your house

Meek- ok let's go

I backed a bag with a few extra pairs of clothes because I was probably gonna stay with Meek tonight. When we got to his house I got in the shower first and then he got in second while I did my hair and makeup. He came out of the shower and I couldn't help but look. He knew that I was looking so he didn't bother to put his towel on.

Nicki- can you put some clothes on?

Meek- why

Nicki- because, you know why
