I had 20 minutes left of work and I was more than ready to go. I was counting up the money and Lindsey was checking inventory.
Lindsey- hey Nicki, you know that your closing today right?
Nicki- yeah
Lindsey- ok well I'm about to leave. I'll lock the door behind me.
Nicki- alright, see ya Lindsey
She walked out locking the door behind her as she said she would and I continued counting money. I hated closing because that meant that I was left alone in the shop with money which makes me an easy target for robbers. I grabbed the last stack of money and began counting it. I heard someone banging on the door and I jumped causing money to fly everywhere. I peaked at the door and it was only Meek thank god. I went over and unlocked the door letting him in.
Nicki- oh my god Meek you scared the shit out of me!
Meek- my bad. Where everybody at?
Nicki- there's nobody here. I'm closing tonight" I said as I began to pick the money up off the floor.
Meek- nah I don't like that shit. You do this shit every time?
Nicki- no just sometimes.
Meek- you need to call me when you gotta do this so I can come up here and meet you.
Nicki- I'm fine baby
Meek- I know but you gone call me anyways right?
Nicki- yes Meek
Meek- good. So what you doin?
Nicki- I'm counting money and then I have to calculate receipts to make sure they both match.
Meek- how much longer you gone be?
Nicki- just like another 10 or 20 minutes
Meek- ight, I'll wait in here then.
He started walking around and observing everything around the store.
Nicki- you see something you like?" I chuckled
Meek- a couple things....
Nicki- you wanna buy something? I could use the extra commission....
Meek- maybe..
Nicki- well you better hurry before I close this register.
Meek- ight give me a minute
Nicki- you know, I've been working here for a few months now. You could have came any other day.
Meek- well I'm here now" he said putting his items on the counter.
Nicki- all of that?
Meek- just ring me up
Nicki- uh what the hell you think you gone do with this whip?
Meek- don't worry about it
Nicki- Meek I don't know about this stuff. Are you trying to torcher me?
Meek- somethin like that" he winked
Nicki- well if that's how it's gonna be then I got something for you too.
Meek- what you got?
Nicki- go to the car, I'll show you later.
Meek- I wanna know now. How you around this shit all day and don't get horny?
Nicki- who said I don't?
Meek- how you handle that?" He said coming around the counter.
Nicki- I just let it build up until I see you
