54. Party

Nicki- come on Ra, let's go wake up daddy.

I held Razlynn in my arms and Ra's hand as we went upstairs to wake up Meek. He's been doing a lot better with helping take care of the kids so every once in a while I let him sleep in, but today was a special day and we had a lot to do.

I picked Ra up and put him on the bed.

Nicki- say wake up daddy

Razah- daddyyyyy! Up!

Nicki- Meek, you know you hear your son!

Meek- nope, and I don't hear you either

Nicki- get up! We have a party to get ready for.

Tomorrow is our baby's first birthday and his first birthday party. I can't even believe how the time has flown by. We're throwing him a birthday party at the house and everyone we know is going to be there.

Nicki- seriously Meek get up, we have to go to the party store.

Meek- I'm up already

Nicki- you don't have any clothes on. We're waiting on you.

Meek- give me 30 minutes

Nicki- just hurry up please

Meek- why we bring him anyways?

Nicki- where else are we going to take him, plus he doesn't even know the party is for him.

We got into the party store and he was naming all the characters he likes.

Nicki- I think I wanna do bubble guppies

Meek- what the hell is that?

Nicki- it's one of his favorite shows.

Meek- everything is his favorite show

Nicki- well to me his favorite show is whatever keeps him quiet and this is one of the ones. What do you think we need?

Meek- just get all that shit so we can go

Nicki- your not about to rush me in here. This is my baby's first birthday and it's going to be special so shush.

Meek- you shush...

Nicki- you don't wanna do this with me. How about you give your daughter a bottle and leave me alone.

Meek- ok, I'll go to the car and feed her

Nicki- nooo you can't go to the car, I need your opinion on some stuff

Meek- well whatever it is I like it

Nicki- no, don't leave

Meek- ight, just don't start all that whining and shit

Nicki- your such a grouch

Meek- so where we goin now?

Nicki- to get his birthday present

Meek- and where is that?

Nicki- toys r us

Meek- this lil boy about to max my credit card out

Nicki- yep, because he's so cute" I said looking back at him.

We had finally decided to turn his car seat around since he was about to be one and I could tell that he was loving it. He kept yelling out the names of everything he saw that he was able to see. He looked out the window the whole ride which granted the rest of us some quiet time.

Nicki- what are you dong to your sister back there crazy?

Meek- what he doin to her?

Nicki- he keeps touching her" I chuckled

Meek pulled up to the door of toys r us so that I could run in and run out.

Meek- don't be long Nicki

Nicki- I'm not, it'll only take a minute

I went in and payed for the little Porsche toy car that I had ordered online for him and had the worked bring it out to the car. They loaded it in our trunk and we headed home.

Nicki- I really can't believe my baby is turning 1!

Meek- you gone cry ain't you

Nicki- you already know I am. Like a baby. It's just a matter of time before he's to cool to cuddle with me.

Meek- I'll cuddle with you

Nicki- no, it's not the same

Meek- cool then, don't ask me to cuddle no more

Nicki- so you don't wanna cuddle tonight?

Meek- nope

Nicki- well see

Meek- what you want me to do with this stuff?

Nicki- you can bring the party stuff in but leave the present in there until he goes to sleep.

I took Ra out of his car seat and put him on the ground. He ran in the house and I got Razlynn out of her car seat while Meek finished getting the bags from the car.

Nicki- I figured we could start decorating when he's sleep to so we won't mess up anything.

Meek- where we gonna put this stuff?

Nicki- we can decorate the dining room and the pool room and a little outside at the entrance.

Meek- ok

Nicki- tomorrow I have to go and get balloons and the cupcakes and I have to bake his smash cake tonight and fill goody bags and-

Meek- baby, relax ok?" He said as he hugged me from behind.

I turned around so that I was facing him.

Nicki- I know, I will. I just want everything to be perfect.

Meek- he's gonna love it regardless and he's the only one that matters.

Nicki- I know. Look at him, he's playing with a box right now.

Meek- let's just do one thing at a time ok baby? I'll start doing somethin and you do somethin else.

Nicki- ok deal, I'll start on the cake and you decorate the pool room.

Meek- ok, you can look through the window and tell me what to do like you always do.

Nicki- I was going to do that anyways...

Nicki- a little to the left baby

Meek- right here?

Nicki- yeah, and when I get the balloons tomorrow I'll put them on both sides. I'll fix it later baby.

Meek- so what you want me to do next?

Nicki- that was someone knocking wasn't it?

Meek- I think so

Nicki- well you can feed Razipooh while I get the door.

I made my way to the door. Looking through the peep hole before opening it.

Nicki- hi mommy! I'm so glad you made it!

Carol- I'm so excited to be here and meet everybody! Thank you for inviting me.
