31. Moving Out

Lindsey- Nicki wait!

I closed her door immediately while still shielding my eyes as I made my way to the door.

Lindsey- Nicki!

Nicki- I'm sorry

Lindsey- it's ok" she chuckled

Nicki- I just wanted to tell you that I was going to Meeks house for the night.

Lindsey- ok. Nicki, I'm covered up. You can uncover your eyes now.

Nicki- I-I'm gonna go, it's getting late. Have....fun I guess.

I grabbed my bag and hurried to the bottom of the stairs where Meek was waiting.

Meek- you good? Why you so red?

Nicki- because I just saw something that I wish I didn't.

Meek- what you see?

Nicki- I walked into Lindsey's room to tell her that I was leaving and there was two other girls in bed with her.

Meek- ok...

Nicki- they were all naked

Meek- oh shit. She lit up there huh?

Nicki- I knew it! I knew she liked women!

Nicki- I don't know. I just don't ask people about their sexuality right off the bat. She never gave any hints of nothing.

Meek- well what do you know about her?

Nicki- I throw that she's from Dubai, her parents have money, she's a nice person, she kissed my baby daddy, and she likes girls.

Meek- that's all?

Nicki- what else I need to know?

Meek- I really don't know. I would just wanna know everything about somebody before I move in with them.

Nicki- what do you think she's a murder or something?

Meek- you never know..

Nicki- I'm sure she would have killed me a long time ago because I know I get on that girls nerves.

Meek- it's just her eyes. They like... Hypnotizing or something.

Nicki- is that how she kissed you?

Meek- probably. I really don't know how that shit happened to this day.

Nicki- well I'm not hypnotized so it must just be you.

Nicki- I really think you should move to a smaller house.

Meek- why?

Nicki- because this house is to big. It's just you here and sometimes us. Why you need 10 bedrooms?

Meek- because I can afford it and I worked hard for it.

Nicki- I understand that but I don't like being in a empty house this big and I worry about you when your here by yourself.

Meek- that's why y'all gone move in to keep me company.

Nicki- that's fine but it's still scary in here.

Meek- ain't nothin to be scared of baby.

Nicki- but seriously, when we get married, can we move into a smaller house?

Meek- we'll see.

Nicki- you never answer me with a direct answer.

Meek- because you keep askin me about the future and I don't have the answers. Let's just chill and raise our baby.

Nicki- that's what we've been doing tho. I'm ready for what's next. Ive given up a lot for you and this relationship and I just want to feel like it's was all worth it.

Meek- you don't feel like I'm worth it?

Nicki- I do

Meek- then just sit back and let me do my thing. You can't be rushin stuff.

Nicki- I'm not trying to. I'm just ready for my life to fall into place.

Meek- it will. I got you.

Nicki- just don't let me down.

THE NEXT EVENING

Meek had just dropped me and Razah off at the apartment because he had to go to work. I walked in and Lindsey was siting on the couch, alone. I said hi and tried to walk past her but she insisted that we talked. I agreed.

Nicki- so what's up?

Lindsey- I know what you saw yesterday probably freaked you out but I did mean for you to find out like that. Yes I am bisexual but I like women more. Those were two of my friends.

Nicki- I'm not here to judge you, your a grown woman and you can do whatever you want. Just warn me next time please.

Lindsey- ok, I can do that" she chuckled

Nicki- well there's something I need to talk to you about as well.

Lindsey- what?

Nicki- Meek wants me to move in with him

Lindsey- oh. So you going to be moving out?

Nicki- yeah, I'm sorry. Is there someone who would be interested in moving in with you to help you pay the bills?

Lindsey- in not sure

Nicki- well if you can't find a new roommate then I'll continue to pay my half of the bills until the lease is up.

Lindsey- ok, that's fine. When are you moving?

Nicki- probably in the next couple of weeks.

Lindsey- ok. I hope we can still keep in touch after you move.

Nicki- we'll still see each other at work and me and the baby will come visit you sometimes.

Lindsey- deal!
