23. My Little Famiy

Nicki- it huuurrrrtttts!

Lindsey- I know, I know

Nicki- mmmmm, I can't take it.

Lindsey- ok Nicki, I'm trying to get your bag packed. I'm almost done just bare with me.

It was 8:18pm and I was going into labor at almost 36 weeks. I thought for sure that I was going to make it to 40 weeks so I was so unprepared. I sat there trying to get the car seat out of the box as the contractions kicked my ass. This was the worst pain I had ever felt.

Nicki- ok I got it open

Lindsey- and I got the bags.

Nicki- can we go now?

Lindsey- let's go have a baby

I texted Draya to let her know that I was in labor and she said she would meet us at the hospital.

The car ride to the hospital felt so long. My contracts were so strong that I felt like I was going to have this baby in the car.

Nicki- are we almost there?

Lindsey- well be there in 5 minutes. Just work on your breathing.

I felt bad that Lindsey had to do everything that Meek should be doing. I thought about calling but I knew that he would be pissed and I didn't want to have to deal with that while I'm already in pain.

Lindsey- ok we're here.

She ran inside and came back with a wheel chair.

Lindsey- ok get in.

Nicki- what about the bags?

Lindsey- I'll get them later, let's just get you checked in before this baby decides to come out.

20 minutes later and I was in the delivery room getting hooked up to the machines.

Nurse- ok Ms. Maraj, your 5 centimeters dilated right now so your half way there. If you want an epidural just press this button and I'll come and give it to you.

Nicki- thank you

Lindsey- you ok?

Nicki- no, this shit hurts.

Lindsey- i can only imagine. But just think, I'm a few hours you'll be a mommy.

Nicki- I just wish it would happen know. I can't deal with this for to much longer.

Lindsey- your doing great

Draya- Nicki! How are you doing?

Nicki- it hurts so bad

Draya- I know, but your baby will be here before you know it. Um Lindsey, can I talk to you out in the hallway please?

Lindsey- s-sure" she said with a confused look on her face.

Nicki- wait no, don't leave me!

Draya- it'll be real quick

They left out leaving me in the room by myself. I was very confused as to what Draya wanted to talk to Lindsey about without me knowing being that they never talk unless all three of us are together. I heard the door open and I relaxed a little.
