Nicki- you see the baby Ra? This is your sister.
Razah's been giving her kisses all day. He's fascinated by her probably because he's never seen a baby before.
Nicki- you ready to go baby?
Meek- yeah, let me take her and put her in her car seat and then I'll help you up.
It's been 3 days since I gave birth and today we're going to the doctor to get me and the baby checked and to sign her official birth certificate.
Nicki- come on Ra, hold mommy's hand.
Razah- bye bye
Nicki- yeah, we goin bye bye.
Meek- I told you to wait for me to come get you
Nicki- I'm fine Meek, my baby is helping me.
We finally made it down the stairs and into the car.
Nicki- you want your juice Ra?
Razah- juice!
I reached in the baby and got his sippie cup out.
Nicki- here, say thank you

Meek- what da hell was that?
Nicki- hush, were still working on that one.
Meek- do you feel ok?
Nicki- yeah I'm good.
The baby ended up being 6 pounds 7 ounces and I only needed 3 stitches this time which I'm very happy about. We were able to keep my blood pressure and the babies blood pressure down and the whole birth went great. Would I do it again, probably not because the cramps were to much for me to handle without the help of an epidural.
Nicki- We haven't really had the chance to talk about much but I wanted to ask did you like the home birth?
Meek- nah...not really
Nicki- why?" I chuckled
Meek- because you was crying and screaming and not in a good way.
Nicki- yeah because it hurt like really bad
Meek- I know and I don't want you to do that again. I'd rather have that hospital bill.
Nicki- well I just wanted to try it. Didn't you like being able to cuddle in the bed right after?
Meek- yeah it was cool after but the during part is what I didn't like. I don't like seeing you like that.
Nicki- I know you don't, but we got our gorgeous baby girl out of it so I'd say it was worth it.
Meek- yeah, I guess

Meek- of course
