Look at that beautiful face.
Mascara running,
Lipstick half gone.
Her pain shows through,
Yes,
But there's only one thing I want to do.
Baby,
Wipe off your makeup.
I'm not asking you to smile.
Just look into my eyes and cry for awhile.
I'll listen to you,
And never leave you.
I know how it feels,
I've been there before.
No need to stack lies upon lies.
This isn't going to help,
So just talk to me.
It can't be done alone.
Please.
Please don't push my away,
Then claim you're alone.
I'm here,
I'm waiting,
Staring at my phone.
Call me,
Yell at me,
I'll listen to you.
Don't hide behind society,
Don't you know what they will do?
They chew you up,
And spit you out when they are through.
Maybe I messed up?
But I know when I'm not wanted.
All I want is for you to look at me.
Wipe off your makeup,
Or hell,
Leave it on with mascara running.
I don't care.
You're beautiful to me,
You're a dream to me.
I'll always be there.
