A Good Shadow Knight: Laurance x Reader

"Laurance, stop trying to hug me!" Aphmau said, stressed. You stand there silently, watching Laurance attempt hugging Aphmau. Aphmau kept pushing him off, disgusted and annoyed. You feel a tug of envy inside of you and remind yourself, You are only a matchmaker. Just then, you have a great idea that would get Laurance to like you.
"Laurance!" You shout as he walks away, sulking.
"Yes, (Your name). Do you have any idea how she could love me?" He replies sadly.
"What if you pretend to like someone el-" You get interrupted by a loud screeching noise. You turn around to see 20 shadow souls screeching loudly as Aphmau holds out a Mithril Sword and backs up.
"Stay away! Don't get near me!" Aphmau shouts at them. They zoom towards her, and all of a sudden, a man with a sixpack and a hood that prevents your from seeing his face stands in front of Aphmau and knocks down five shadow souls. The rest come towards them. One comes towards you.
"Oh my God!" You scream. You begin to run, but it is only a foot or two away from you. Laurance jumps in between the two of you and kills him out with a emerald sword. He wraps his arms around you.
"Are you okay?!" He asks. You feel yourself blushing as you hug him back.
"I'm fine, Laurance. Thank you for saving me." You say.
"That's my job. To protect beautiful and kind people." He says and blushes.
"Is that Garroth?" You ask, pointing to the hooded man.
"No. That is Aaron. Another bit of slight competition." He sighs.
"There are other girls out there." You whisper to him.
"Like you?" He asks and blushes again. You back out of his arms slowly and walk off, feeling very shy and awkward. He begins to do the same. You two look at each other before you realize that the shadow souls were all killed.
"Thank you again." You say and run off to the tree.
