Irene's Statue

You were up in the tree the next morning, overlooking the sea when Laurance appeared behind you.
"Good morning, (your name)." He said.
"Good morning." You reply and continue looking out.
"What are you thinking about?" Laurance asks you. You are thinking about what happened in the nether between you and Vincent. He let you go... to Laurance. Does he know you love him?, you think. You look over at Laurance, wishing it was easier to tell him your feelings. But he thought you love someone else, and you knew he loved Aphmau. He was head over heals for her, and she didn't even give him a chance! But he was distracted, he wouldn't have time to bring you in his arms.
"(Your name)?!" Laurance shouts, interrupting your thoughts.
"Oh, sorry. I just wish I could find someone to talk to about my problems..." You say, tears streaming down your face.
"You can talk to me. I'm here to listen." Laurance whispers and holds yours hand tight. Just then, you hear Aphmau's voice. He pulls your arm, and drags you down the ladder. Aphmau is standing at the bottom.
"Laurance, (your name), what's going on?" She asks, puzzled to see you and Laurance holding hands.
"I'm taking her to the Irene Statue." Laurance says.
"What, on a date?!" Aphmau asks and stares at you two.
"Yeah. What's the problem, Aphmau?" Laurance asks slyly. You smile a fake smile.
"Nothing, I just didn't know you had interest in her. Anyways, I was looking for Zoey." Aphmau replies, changing topic.
"I haven't seen her. Now we'll be heading off." Laurance says and pulls you away. You wave goodbye to Aphmau.
"I didn't know this was a date!" You say.
"I don't know if it is or not, I just wanted to get out of that situation so we could go to the Irene Statue and you can ask Irene for help." He replies. You smile and walk off.

You look at a glowing silver and purple statue that looked like Lady Irene. You feel the aura of love and kindness around it, you feel soothed at once. Laurance holds your hand and nudges you on. You close your eyes and feel yourself wept away.
Hello, (your name).
Hello??? Who are you?
I am Irene. Who else could I be?
Irene? Really?
Yes, my child. I am here to help you. Laurance is speaking with me too, if you opened your eyes, you'd see him making his wish.
Oh... I make a wish now?
I grant wishes for those who are pure at heart.
Well, I wish that Laurance would love... APHMAU?!
Your eyes open when the Irene figure you saw in your eyes turned into Aphmau. You look at Laurance, realizing you just wished for him to love Aphmau.
"I had wished that Irene would tell me what you were wishing for. And now I know." He whispered. You stared at him. Was he going to love Aphmau now?
"I didn't know you were wishing that Aphmau and I would be together. I just wanna let you know that I found someone better. Your wish didn't work." Laurance said. You smile as the sunset came in and you heard rustling in the trees. You looked up at the night sky to see a shadowy figure in a tree and that's when you finally realized you were being watched.
