You, Aaron, and Laurance search for a big mushroom tree in the Yggdrasil forest. You know that Zoey came from here. But you don't know much about the forest in particular.
"Look over there." Aaron pointed. You see some white, pretty flowers.
"Yeah...?" Laurance asked.
"Nothing. Never mind." Aaron says and walks on. You and Laurance glance at each other and continue walking. Aaron quickly disappears.
"Did he just abandon us like that?" You ask.
"Yep. Nothing we can do about it." Laurance says. You two continue walking and it starts to get dark.
"We should get some rest." You say. Laurance agrees and you search for a place to set camp. You find a clearing in between a few trees and Laurance starts a fire carefully. The two of you sit and eat for a while.
"This is a beautiful forest, isn't it?" Laurance says.
"Heh, yeah. It truly is." You rest your head on his shoulder and close your eyes.
"Tired?" Laurance asks.
"Mmmhmmm." You reply. You sit back up normally and sleep on a log. Laurance joins you a while later. He pulls you close holds your hands. He kisses you.
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight." You fall asleep in his arms with no troubles boggling your mind.
"Hey-lo, little one." A high pitched voice wakes you up. You look up to see a girl with blue hair with green ends. Her eyes were silver and she was wearing a dress made completely of flowers and grass. It glowed with a magical purple. Behind her was Laurance, pinned to a tree with a silver knife, unconscious.
"Laurance?!" You shriek.
"Oh, that handsome man is yours? Well he ain't lasting long, little one. I knocked him out cold fo' now. But I'm plannin' to do some good ol' things to him, and you. See, y'all were campin' out in my forest, cookin' up my subjects. Like that chicken you ate," she said, pointing to some chicken bones," he ain't just a chicken, he's my good ol' pal Luke Cluckety. You ain't supposed to kill animals fo' your pleasures, that's like cookin' up your ma's hand!"
"I'm sorry. We brought a chicken from our plaza, not here. I swear. Also, leave my lover be. He's a good person, he didn't do anything wrong, I swear to Irene." You say.
"I ain't believin' lies, child. Now you tell me, would Lady Irene like it if y'all lied like that?" The girl said.
"I'm not lying, I swear. Please, tell me, why are you so mad at us?" You say, trying to be calm.
"This is my forest, and y'all aren't allowed to stay here. An' if I find you children eatin' ma subjects, you gonna see the worst of it! I'm a-swearin to Irene!" The woman shouted. You feel anger bubbling inside of you.
"YOU ARE GONNA KILL US... FOR SLEEPING IN YOUR FOREST?!" You scream.
"It's like y'all sleepin' over at your Lord's ol' cabin without permission!" The woman shouted back.
"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" You scream louder.
"I'm a-gonna tell yo ma that you screamin' at me like that!" The woman said.
"I DON'T HAVE PARENTS!" You scream.
"Hmph, explains a lot."
"EXCUSE ME?!" You scream. You grab out your diamond sword and pin the woman to a wall. She looks at you fearfully all of a sudden.
"Fine, fine, I'll let y'all go. Just don't kill me." The woman sighed.
"Alright. We will spare you and leave, if you lead up to the Magic elves." You say.
"Alrighty, then, child!" You let the woman go and she frees Laurance from the tree. Laurance fall onto the floor and slowly wakes up.
"Mmm... (Your name)! Are you okay?!" Laurance asks.
"I'm fine. We found ourselves a map." You say, pointing to the crazy lady.
"I got a name, y'all know that?" She said.
"What is your name?" Laurance asks.
"Yen. Ma name is Yen. And I'm a-gonna be your tour guide."
"Alright, Yen. Lead the way." You say. You and Laurance pack up all of your things while Yen buries the chicken bones.
"Rest in peace, Luke." Yen whispers. Laurance kisses you on the cheek.
"I was worried that she might hurt you. But instead, she knocked me out." Laurance says with a smile.
"Are you okay now?" You ask.
"Yes, but I just wanna let you know... she seems to be lying to us. Her accent, her name, her behavior, they don't seem to suit her looks." Laurance says.
"Looks don't matter, Laurance." You say.
"Usually not, but she looks like a fairy, or someone magical... something is off, but I don't know what. Let's just follow her to the elves, and then forget her. I don't want to remember this situation at all." Laurance says. You agree.
"ARE WE GETTIN' A-GOIN' NOW?!" Yen asked. You and Laurance hold hands, nod, and follow her.
