You spend the rest of the whole day thinking about Laurance and the shadow souls. You go into the Phoenix Drop library and skim around for books on shadow souls. As you read in the library, you begin to hear a lot of noise outside. You walk outdoors to spot a group of people lead by a woman in silver armor with gorgeous red hair. You realize that must be Cadenza, Laurance's sister. He told you about Cadenza at the lake. You spot another man riding a horse with her. He has red eyes and yellowish-silver armor. Immediately you know who it is.
"Cadenza, you're finally here! Aphmau exclaims as she wraps her arms around Cadenza. They both start talking about some "alliance" and other villages that would come visit. You are about to head back in when someone holds your hand and tugs it.
"I see you are still alive to this day. Now I can fix up what I never did in the past." Vincent whispers to you. You turn around and his red eyes glare at you with concentration and anger.
"Please, leave me alone." You say roughly.
"I have something to tell you, miss!" Vincent says. You hear swords clanging as Laurance comes in between the two of you and holds his sword against Vincent.
"Leave (your name) alone! Or face my wrath." Laurance growls.
"I was just talking to my love, Laurance. How many times do I have to tell you not to talk back to an elder." Vincent says.
"Love? What are you-" Laurance says.
"She and I are back together. Now go over there and kiss Aphmau and forget that she - or I, for that matter - exist." Vincent demands.
"What are you tal-" You say before he interrupts you.
"LEAVE, PEASANT!" Vincent orders Laurance. Laurance looks back at you and leaves. You see the heartbreak in his eyes. You see that he's starting to love you. And that's when a portal comes out of nowhere, and shadow souls burst out.
