I was asleep on Laurance's chest on the sofa in our room when someone knocked the door of the suite. I woke up in surprise.
"I'll be right back, my love." Laurance said and walked over to the door. He opened the door and Dante walked in. Why is he here so late at night?
"Laurance... can I truly trust you and (Your name)?" Dante asked us. Laurance smiled.
"Of course you can. We're willing to help anyone and anyone can trust us." Laurance replied, "And anyways, who can resist trusting and loving that little bundle of joy over there?!" Laurance pointed to me and winked. He still has it in him, I thought with a smile.
"Alright. I need to tell you something I've been holding back for very long." Dante said and with a sigh. He sat on the bed and looked at the ground.
"Tell us, Dante. We're not getting any younger." I said after about a minute had passed.
"Nicole and Kawaii~Chan are not in a coma." Dante said. We stared at him in utter surprise.
"T-they're okay?" I asked.
"Why did you lie to everyone? What happened to them? Where are they?" Laurance asked.
"Jordan and his wife, Alya, took Nicole and Dante to the Nether to become shadow knights." Dante explained.
"ALYA?!" I shrieked, "THAT LITTLE PRICK IS STILL ALIVE?!" I jumped up in surprise.
"Jordan's wife, Alya, is indeed still alive. In my dreams every night, they send me glimpses of what they're doing to Nicole and Kawaii~Chan in the Nether. Neither of them should be dealing with what they are right now." Dante cried. Tears streamed down his face and he hid it in his arms. All I could see was his blue hair and all I could hear were his muffled cries.
"I just want them back... I can't believe what he did to them." Dante cried.
"Why didn't you tell Aphmau?" Laurance asked.
"Mmfmm smmmm." Dante muffled.
"What?!" I asked.
"I was scared! I was scared that I couldn't trust her! So I lied!" Dante shouted, raising his face up for a moment. I could see the tears streaming down from his tired face and staining his uniform.
"Trust us, Dante. We care about you. Please trust Aphmau too, she's worth being trusted." Laurance said.
"We can bring them back." I told Laurance. I placed my hand on his shoulder.
"We can go to the Nether and bring them back."
"How, (Your name)? And what can we do there?" Laurance asked.
"Don't we need to perform the Godly Spell and change the shadow knights?" I asked.
"We aren't aiming to change the hearts of every shadow knight. That's impossible, there's too many. But what we can do is change the hearts of the knights who are in most control. Zenix, who is ruling over O'khasis, and the Shadow Knights ruling the Nether." Laurance reasoned.
"Jordan and Alya rule the Nether. Ever since they became Zenix's apprentices, they gained the ultimate dark power to rule the Nether. Zenix trusts them to lead the knights of the Nether, and everyone has to listen to them there." Dante added.
"Exactly. If we change Jordan and Alya, we can save Kawaii~Chan and Nicole, plus get half of our job done. Afterwards, we'll go change Zenix in O'khasis." I finished. Laurance and Dante nodded in agreement.
"One question. How are you guys gonna change them?" Dante asked.
"Trust us, Dante. We are performers of a spell only Gods know." Laurance said. Dante smiled and walked to the door.
"I'll trust you." Dante said before he closed the door.
