A Good Shadow Knight: Laurance x Reader

Arguments

You and Laurance carry the luggage off the boat once you arrive to Pheonix Drop. You think deeply about this, and decide it's time to tell Laurance.
"Laurance, meet me by the shore later." You say.
"Is this a date?" Laurance asks.
"Not exactly..." You say.
"THIS IS TOTALLY A DATE! I WILL BE THERE IN AN HOUR SWEETHEART!" Laurance shouted and ran off. You shake your head in disapproval.
"What's up?" Katelyn asks.
"Nothing. I just... I need to eat something." You say, trying to cover up your anxiety.
Go to Kawaii~Chan's and get some cake. That might help you.
"You should go to Kawaii~Chan's. She sells cakes sometimes." Katelyn says.
Can she read my mind?
No, it's just a coincidence that the author planned.
The... author?
Just... Don't ask. Go eat cakes.
"Thanks, Katelyn." You say and walk to Kawaii~Chan's place. Even after eating the cake and talking about sweets with Kawaii~Chan, you're feeling woozy.
***At the Shore***
Laurance is standing there, his outfit looking polished and his hair brushing into his blue eyes. He smiles when he sees you, and greets you with a hug.
"Good evening, my lo-"
"I told you this isn't a date." Your shadow knight you interrupts.
"It... Isn't? Then what's up?" Laurance asks curiously.
"Sorry, that was my shadow knight form. But it really isn't a date. It's an explanation." You say quickly.
"What do you need to tell me?"
"My father was Enki the Keeper. He was a Divine Warrior and he wanted to protect his village from a Demon Warlock. He became desperate to become allies with him because he killed hundreds during a small battle they had. He was corrupted by the Warlock after becoming allies and tried to destroy his own village. He cheated on the Spell of Love by stealing someone else's to please the Demons and went to the Heavens. I challenged him and killed him to save the village. I gave the rest of the duty to Travis since his father protected the village too. Then I moved here, so that the Warlock wouldn't find me. I was going to return, but then I met you and thought that we could destroy the Warlock and the Shadows and save everyone. That is my story." You say.
"Why didn't you tell me all of this earlier?!" Laurance said.
"I didn't know all of it, nor did I think it was important." You answer.
"NOT IMPORTANT?! WE COULD SAVE EVERYONE BY FINDING THE SPELL AND FORGET THE SORCERERS!" Laurance shouted.
"WHY ARE YOU EVEN MAD AT ME?!"
"BECAUSE I TRUSTED YOU TO TELL ME EVERYTHING! WE CAN ONLY HELP EVERYONE IF WE KNOW THE IMPORTANT DETAILS!"
"I THOUGHT YOU WOULDN'T LIKE ME ANYMORE BECAUSE I MURDERED SOMEONE AND RAN AWAY!"
"I MURDERED PEOPLE TOO! WHY WOULD YOU THINK I WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND?!"
"MAYBE BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT YOU ARE A REFORMED SHADOW, AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE HELL I AM! IF I KNEW, I WOULD CHOOSE! I COULD BE EVIL FOR ALL WE KNOW!"
That is true, but you don't need to be so rude about it, shadow.
"I won't believe you're evil, I love you."
"THEN WHAT WAS ALL OF THIS ARGUMENT ABOUT?! JUST... JUST GO AWAY!"
SHADOW, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
I KNEW LAURANCE DIDN'T TRULY LOVE YOU!

"Laurance, we're breaking up. You don't understand me. Not that you loved me anyways." Your shadow says. Laurance stares at you, tearing up.
NO. NO NO NO! You can't do this!
All of a sudden, a light flashes and a girl with brown pixie-cut hair and red eyes appears in front of you.
"MWAHAHAHA! I frustrated you so much that I broke free!"
"HOW DARE YOU TRY TO BREAK ME UP WITH LAURANCE?!" You shout. Laurance backs up.
"So you're not breaking up?" Laurance asks, wiping his tears off.
"I'M NOT! I LOVE YOU, AND I HATE HER! HELP ME, WE NEED TO DESTROY HER!" You shout.
"Too late." The shadow says with a laugh. She pulls a Nether Portal out of the middle of nowhere and jumps in. It disappears after she goes through, and leaves you and Laurance behind in utter shock.
