Laurance Returns

You are standing in a small arena, 5 shadow souls disguised as innocent beggars. Your job is to kill each and every one with a Nether Redstone sword. You look at all of the souls and think, (Your name)! They're shadow souls. Just kill them! But the disguises are so realistic, and the sword is so devilish that you tremble just thinking about killing innocent people with it.
"COME ON ALREADY!" A shadow knight groans. You step forward and all of a sudden, you hear a crash. A portal with purplish magic glows near you. The shadow souls run out and the shadow Knights all stand in front of it. Out of it jumps Laurance.
"WHERE IS (YOUR NAME)?! LET GO OF HER NOW OR I WILL-" Laurance yells.
"Laurance! You're here! Take her out of here now!" Vincent shouts.
"Where is she?! Is she okay?!" Laurance asks, a little calmer.
"She's here. Now go!" Vincent pushes you into Laurance's arms and you both run off into the portal. Everything goes purple for a second and you returned by the shore of the beach. Laurance is beside you, holding your hands.
"Are you okay?!" He asks frantically.
"I'm fine. How did you find me?" You ask.
"Vincent called me. He said that Zenix captured you guys on your... your date and he wanted me to take you back. He's going to fight Zenix for a while. He'll probably die." Laurance explains.
"Vincent... He called you for me?" You ask, stunned.
"Yeah... He really likes you, huh?! You have a great boyfriend..." Laurance said, his voice drifting off.
"He's not my-"
"It's okay. I understand why you got back together with him. He's brave and strong and wise and all... great at flirting and everything. I bet he's even very handsome, I'm sure you've seen him without his helmet." Laurance says. He looks off, his eyes tearing up. You stare at him, clueless on what to say.
"N-not that I care or anything! I mean, I have Aphmau and I know lots of girls who like me and I don't like you or anything! I would never! I mean, yeah, I've hugged you and all, but I would never kiss you! I have other girls to make out with..." Laurance says quickly and starts blushing. You frown.
"Okay..." You say and go off. You feel tears pushing at the back of your eyes. At this rate, you would never be with Laurance like you wanted to be.
