Laurance, Aphmau, and you walked up the stairs alongside the biggest tree you have ever seen. You walk into the treehouse room and stare in awe at all the beds and how wide and pretty the room is.
"Welcome to the tree, (Your Name)." Laurance says.
"I think I should get going, it's getting late." Aphmau says with a smile. "Don't want to keep Garroth waiting."
"Oh... Yes... Good night, Lord Aphmau." Laurance says looking down. Aphmau gives you a quick tour of the tree and leaves.
"What was that all about?" You ask Laurance. Laurance looks away, and heads toward the ladder.
"Let me guess, you are her lover, but she loves another." You say.
"H-how did you know?" Laurance asks you.
"I've been in your footsteps before." You say.
"She chose Garroth. She abandoned me. She broke my heart into pieces. I'm useless, I'm just the Shadow Knight abandoned by Aphmau." Laurance says, choking up. The tears in his eyes begin to get bigger.
"You seem to be more than that. I think you are a very handsome and kind man, and we just met! You must a great guy. Don't put yourself down" You say and rest your hand on his shoulder.
