"What... what should we..." You whisper.
"Shh... don't worry, we got this." Laurance says, jumping in front of you. The shadow souls stare you in the eyes, and then they step aside to show someone.
"Mwahahahaha, it's my beautiful princess." Vincent cackled. You stood there, your hand to your mouth. He couldn't... he's a good guy isn't he?! He would never be with the shadow souls!
"She's my beautiful princess!" Laurance shouted. You backed up as the two of them stepped up and clashed their swords against one another.
"STOP!" You scream. You realize Vincent's eyes are redder than usual and that he looks possessed like a shadow. Shadows... ZENIX!
"VINCENT, STOP!" You scream, "YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS!"
"You don't love me, you love someone else!" Vincent screamed.
"AND THAT'S OKAY!" You scream louder.
"Vincent, she's right. You're better than this. Please, we might not like each other, but even I know you're better than this at heart. Please, please, we care about you. We can't let you do this to yourself or others." Laurance said. Vincent closed his eyes and fell to the ground. All of the shadow souls surrounding him disappeared and Aphmau ran into the forest.
"WHERE... WHERE WERE YOU?!" Aphmau screamed.
"Aph, we were getting Vincent." Laurance excused.
"Okay... welcome back, Vincent." Aphmau said.
"Thanks. Glad to be here." He said with his face still planted on the ground. He gave Aphmau a thumbs up and tried to push himself up.
"Well you guys, I'm gonna be sailing us to Christmas Island tonight, so get ready!" Aphmau shouted and ran off.
"Laurance, (your name), I'm so so so sorry. Zenix overcame me in my dreams telling me that the Nether was a better home for me, that someone actually loved me there. Nobody loves me here..." He choked.
"Vincent, I could learn to love you as a brother. I'm sure (your name) loves you in a friendly way. And I'm sure that another girl out there is calling out your name, waiting for you." Laurance said. "People out there care, they really do."
"Thanks, Laurance. Friends?"
"Friends." The two of them hug.
