"Phoenix Drop. We made it." Laurance says to you. You, Laurance, and Aaron had been traveling for a week in the Yggdrasil forest. When you returned, Aphmau gave you a big hug, and you decided to take it.
"Where were you guys?! (Your name) is everything okay? I'm sorry for the way I treated you earlier! It was rude of me, and I want to be nicer to you. I'm so so sorry." Aphmau says to you.
"First of all, we're fine. We just ran into... Problems. And second of all, it's okay! I'm not too mad." You say. She hugs you again and starts speaking to the others. You head to the tree. Returning home is the best feeling you could possibly have. You and Laurance head up the tree.
"Everyone seems to have been worried sick about us." Laurance says.
"I wish they'd understand that we can handle ourselves." You say.
"It's alright. I think they know I'll be okay if I'm with you." Laurance flirts. You rest your head on his shoulder.
"How do you tell them about the engagement?" You ask.
"I'll handle it. Don't worry. But we need to make the Spell of Love and go to the Sacred Heavens." Laurance says.
"You're right," You say, "That's our first priority."
"Wanna go out tonight?" Laurance asks.
"But where?" You ask.
"Um... let's go up to the old guard tower that overlooks Phoenix Drop and the shore. It's a beautiful and romantic place." Laurance says.
"I haven't been there before. Let's go." You say.
***Time skip to the night***
You are up in the tree, pacing like crazy. Katelyn is with you.
"What's wrong, (your name)?" Katelyn asks.
"I need to find the PERFECT outfit for my date with Laurance tonight! It's our first date as engaged people!" You say. You roam through your clothes.
"NOTHING IS RIGHT!" You say. Katelyn looks in your pile of clothes.
"Hmm... Pick this." Katelyn says. She pulls out a shirt that's (your favorite color) and black leggings. She picks out (your favorite color) high heels to match. She brushes your hair and gives you a necklace with a fake diamond heart.
"Give me back the necklace after your date." Katelyn says.
"Thank you. Where did you get it?" You ask.
"Jeffory gave it to me." Katelyn answers quietly.
"It's lovely. And so is the outfit." You say. Katelyn high fives you and you climb down the tree. Laurance is waiting in the town square.
"Good evening my lo- WHOA!" Laurance says when he sees you. He eyes you for a few moments and you eye him. He's wearing a green collared shirt with his regular pants. His hair is parted, but still wavy and brown.
"You look beautiful, my princess." Laurance says.
"You look handsome, my knight in shining armor." You say. He holds your hand and the two of you walk to the guard tower. When you get there, you look out the window and sigh. The view is beautiful. The sunset turns the sky into a beautiful ombré and the water is sparkling. Phoenix Drop stands out compared to the forest. The Irene Statue changes color like the sky, and the big tree shines like diamonds.
"It's amazing." You say. Laurance holds your hands.
"Do you truly love me?" Laurance asks.
"Of course I do. I can't imagine a life without you." You say.
"I have dealt with so much in my life, and I bet you have too. So many in the world say they truly love me, but they end up leaving me. I don't want you to be like that. I've never loved anyone more than you. Ever." Laurance says.
"I love you too. All I want and need in my life is you. I want you to be mine forever." You whisper. You rest your head on Laurance's shoulder.
"I'm already yours forever." He says and kisses you as the sun finally disappears under the stars.
