Red Eyes

The tree keeps rustling and you and Laurance back up from it.
"SHOW YOURSELF!" Laurance shouts, pulling out his sword.
"Dude, relax, it's just me. I thought you two were kinda cute so I followed along. Laurance, you have a way with the ladies, and she's a cute one too!" a voice says as a man with white hair and green eyes falls out of the tree.
"(Your name), this is Travis. And Travis, this is (your name)." Laurance says annoyingly.
"Hello, beautiful! Are you sure your name isn't nobody? Because someone told me nobody's perfect!" Travis flirted.
"Yeah, no." You say and laugh. Travis frowns. Aaron and Dante come over at the same time. Travis looks at them.
"Wow, more third wheels." Laurance whispers.
"What did you say?" You ask Laurance.
"OH, NOTHING, SWEETHEART! I MEAN, LOVE. NO! I MEAN FRIEND!" Laurance shouts awkwardly.
"Umm... okay. Laurance..." You reply.
"Wow, looks like for once, Laurance can't be honest about his feelings!" Dante says and laughs. Aaron starts joining in.
"What feelings?!" Laurance jerks back towards the Irene Statue.
"Laurance, just tell her you love. Take her out on a date, and bring her flowers like you want to. You never know when it's too late and she might be gone forever..." Aaron says. He looks at the ground. You realize his eyes are filling up with tears. You turn around to see Laurance.
"Aaron, you're right..." Laurance says. You look at Laurance and feel your heart beating super fast. He's gonna tell me that he loves me. He's gonna ask me to be his girlfriend.
"I wanna ask you to be my girlfriend. Please, I love you, more than I loved Aphmau. I would die for you!" Laurance says. You start blushing.
"Laurance, I-" You are interrupted by your own voice, "I'm not single! I am dating Vincent. You idiot, I don't need you! I've moved on, you know!"
"I... I'm sorry, (your name), you just mean so much to me." Laurance said, his eyes tearing up.
"I DON'T CARE! MY RED EYES BETTER NOT SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN OR ELSE!" Your voice bellowed. Red eyes??? You think.
"Your eyes... they're supposed to be (your eye color)." Aaron whispered.
"SHE IS A... A SHADOW KNIGHT?!" Laurance exclaimed.
"Maybe she's an escapee imp." Travis chimes in.
"She... she can't be a shadow knight! For that she'd have to kill one of her monarchs!" Laurance exclaimed.
"I... I did kill my father. He was evil." You state.
"That explains the red eyes. You were being controlled by your inner shadow knight." Aaron said.
"But this is the first time..." You whisper.
"You went to the Nether, that's why." Laurance points out. You walk weakly away from the Irene Statue back home, your red eyes fading away.
