Mistletoe

You and Laurance finally arrived at the Christmas Party. He asked you to be his date, and of course, you said yes. The party is at the dock. There is a shed with a mistletoe and a picnic area. There was gorgeous snow and everyone was dressed in holiday sweaters and pretty necklaces. People were talking, laughing, and drinking hot cocoa. Vincent was searching around for a girl and thought that he could ask Santa for one.
"Santa, can I get a girlfriend for Christmas?" Vincent asked.
"Ho ho ho, I wish it was that easy! But I can always try!" Santa said with a smile. Vincent walked off with his head hanging. You frown.
"I wish we could do something to help him." You say.
"Well... WE CAN HAVE HIM WAIT FOR A GIRL UNDER THE MISTLETOE!" Laurance shouts. You hug him.
"You are a genius!" You say. You run over and tell Vincent.
"I'll do it!" Vincent says.
***Time skip to the end of the party***
"Vincent, how's it going?!" Laurance asks.
"Terrible. And the party is almost over!" Vincent complains. You prepare the ship for sailing. All of a sudden, Laurance pushes Vincent away from the mistletoe and pulls you under it.
"Heh heh..." You chuckle. He brushes your hair out of your face and laughs. He pulls you closer and you put your hands on his shoulders.
"All I want for Christmas is you." Laurance whispers. You blush and he kisses you.
"IF ONLY IT WERE THAT EASY FOR ME!" Vincent shouts and runs away. He crashes into another girl and they fall on the floor. Under the mistletoe.
"Heh heh. Sorry, mister." The girl whispers. Vincent smiles shyly.
"Oh it's okay, miss. You still look beautiful after that fall." He says.
"Hmph. He's like another you." You laugh with Laurance. The girl and Vincent stand up holding onto each other. You realize the girl has elf ears.
"You're an... elf?" Vincent asks.
"Mhmm." She says with a smile. She has blonde, short hair and green eyes. She's wearing a green and red dress.
"I like that." Vincent says and leans in. She stops him.
"Dude, tell me your name first!" She shouts. Laurance starts laughing really hard.
"Vincent."
"I'm Sapphire." The girl says. Vincent leans in and you two turn around.
"Just wait..." Laurance says. Wait for what?!
How should I know?!
"SAPPHIRE! BRING OUT THE SNOWMAN CUPCAKES!" Santa shouts. Laurance falls on the floor laughing.
"Well, I have to go work." Sapphire says.
"And I have to go back home..." Vincent says, tears in his eyes. Sapphire kisses his cheek and runs off.
"Whoa..." Vincent says.
"Lemme guess, this is a first for you?" Laurance says with a laugh. You elbow him and he stops laughing.
"I hope I see her again..." Vincent says, walking into the boat. You laugh. Love is everywhere this Christmas.
