A Good Shadow Knight: Laurance x Reader

The Nether

You wake up and rub your eyes. All of a sudden, you scream from a strong pain in your head. You look around and realize that you're not in Phoenix Drop. You're sitting on nether bricks with two shadow souls standing post near you.
"Finally, she is awake." You hear a loud voice growl.
"Who are you?! I swear if you hurt me I will..." You shout.
"I am Zenix. And I won't hurt you... You are a new shadow knight of ours." the voice cackled. You turned around to see a man in grayish-green armor. He looked at you with brown eyes. He took his helmet off so you could see his whole face. Brown eyes, brown hair, and an devilish smile.
"Shadow knight?!" You exclaim.
"Yes. Take her to the training academy." Zenix orders the two shadow souls. They grab your arms and take you off. You struggle out and grab your iron sword. It's not the best, but you blow out one of the shadow souls. The other one comes closer and closer to you. Vincent comes in between the two of you out of nowhere and kills him. He brings you into his arms.

"I'm sorry, (your name), I didn't have a choice but to betray you like this." Vincent whispers in your ear, "Zenix said he would attack Meteli with his Shadow Knights and kill everyone if I didn't get you."
"Why me?" You ask, tears dripping down your face. "And why should I trust you?!"
"Trust me because I love you. And why you? I have no clue. He knew how hard it would be for me to betray you, and he thought that I wouldn't complete the task and he could get away with killing Meteli." Vincent replied wiping the tears off of your cheeks.
"I'm sorry... I can't believe all of this is happening to you." You whisper.
"Shhh... It's okay. Now don't let me go, I'm not leaving you behind. I will help you get out of here safe and alive. I promised him I'd get you, I never promised him you would be a shadow knight." Vincent said and finally let you go. You looked around in the dark, fiery place that was named the Nether. Your life was at stake, you had to trust Vincent here. You kept your hopes up that Laurance was safe and happy, and that soon, you could run into his arms again.
