Passing the Test

Laurance and I stood carefully in front of a demon. I held my breath as it inched closer, it's evil red eyes glowing with ambition.
"Everyday and every night, darkness turns into light. And as light gives darkness a soul, peace begins to take a role. I can't make you lose the darkness, but I can make it fade away. Because sometimes the moon does shine in the middle of the day." Laurance and I chanted. The spell began to glow out of our hands, and we shot it straight at the demon. The demon immediately transformed into an angel.
"We... did it..." Laurance whispered.
"You have passed the test." Thegod declared. Laurance and I jumped with excitement. I started squealing with excitement and Laurance picked me up and kissed me. He let me go for just a second before I kissed him back.
"Those two... always at it." Venus murmured to Thegod.
"Heh... if only we could be like them." Thegod replied. Venus blushed.
"You have feelings for me?" Venus asked Thegod.
"Yeah. Do you have any for me?" Thegod asked.
"Yep." Venus replied. Laurance and I stopped our victory kisses to cheer on Thegod and Venus. I became a huge fan of this thing called fangirling since I moved to the Heavens. I created this thing called a ship name for Venus and Thegod: Veegod. We all celebrated our happiness for a while longer and then Laurance and I left.
"Time to go home, (Your name). I can't wait to meet everyone again, even if we have to reintroduce ourselves." Laurance said.
"I can't wait either. I wonder if Garroth had returned from the Irene Dimension yet. Or maybe the Shadow Knights have backed up. Maybe Vincent and Sapphire know each other, and maybe Alya is nice now." I said, hoping for the best.
We prepared our packing and prepared our spell to open the portal back. The whiteness of the Heavens faded into a portal. I could see that we would be landing next to the Irene Statue in Phoenix Drop.
"Ready?" Laurance asked.
"Ready as I'll ever be." I replied, and we both jumped in. We landed in a world that was unlike anything we could have ever imagined.
