Chapter 12

December; 2012.

Outside the orphanage; it snowed lightly. Naomi was gazing out the window and so was I. She glanced at me, and I glanced at her. She smirked "hey Y/N..." She said opening the window. "Naomi no!" I said. I was twelve; and I still got scared of heights.

I didn't want the head to kill us for going outside. The lady was nice, but got worried easily. We could go outside; but we snuck out instead of hanging around all the other kids.

She handed me my f/c coat and put on her light pink one. "Let's go." She said laughing as she jumped out. "I'll catch you y/n." She smiled. "Don't worry! I'll never drop you." I saw a glimmer in her eyes; which gave her my trust.

I sighed and took a deep breath in as I jumped out. My h/c hair flowed with the cool air as I dropped. I almost was at the ground as I cringed and squeezed my eyes shut. But; she caught me. She smiled as I opened up my eyes. "Thanks." I said.

She giggled; "No probs!" We started to fool around in the snow. She jumped into a pile, and sighed a hole. "Naomi! Your in a dress! You're gonna get a cold!" I said as I pulled her out of the snow by her hips. She rolled her eyes and grabbed my hand.

"Don't be such a baby, y/n." She said. "But you could get hurt!" I cried. I started to walk quickly to the latter. "Come on; let's go inside I'm cold." I said not noticing that there was ice. I slipped and Naomi quickly ran and caught my back. "I promised I'd never let you fall." She said.

She was leaning over me; and we both blushed. Our cheeks and noses where already pink, but now we blushed a darker shade. She brought me closer and I leaned in. Our lips met; and we realized what had happened.

She pulled away and pulled me up. "Oh my gosh..I'm-" she said. "-I'm so sorry y/n!" She cried out tearing up. A tear rolled down her cheek as I wiped it away with my s/f/c glove. "Naomi." I said. "It's fine, really."

She shook her head. "I'm so so so sorry!" She wept; bawling her eyes out. "Naomi please stop!" I said. "Your gonna make me cry.." I said tearing up. "Don't cry!" She said cracking her voice. "I can't mess this up anymore can I...please say you don't hate me."

"I could never hate you, you're my best friend." I said moving her auburn hair out of her face and kissing her forehead. She blushed more and I wiped her tears away. "No more crying, okay?" I said as she nodded. "Okay."

I helped her up the latter and then she pulled me up. We closed the window and took off our jackets. The head lady called us down; and we nodded running to eat. "Never let me fall Naomi, okay?" I said. "Do you promise?"

She nodded holding out her pinky. "I promise." She said as we linked fingers and locked arms as we went down to eat.

Present day, December 2015.

I woke up to an alarm clock blaring in my ear. I jumped up; thinking it was Bill being an asshat as usual. I've gain a hatred over someone in what, three days? You gotta piss me off real bad to make me get pissed off in only three days.

Yawning; I took a quick shower and blow dried my hair. I came downstairs dressed in my favorite band shirt and some jeans. My hair was still kinda wet, but I'd fully blow dry it after breakfast.

  I nibbled on my blueberry bagel as Dipper and Mabel scooted in.  "Hey guys." I smiled. "Hey f/n." Mabel said calling me by my nickname. "Hey Y/N." Dipper smiled patting my back yawning.

  They started to eat cereal; Mabel ate lucky charms and Dipper had Chex. Chex tasted like shit to me, but whatever. Once I was done; Mabel smiled. "So I talked with your friend..." She said the squealed. "She's going to our school!"
