"We try so hard to hide everything we're really feeling from those who probably need to know our true feelings the most. People try to bottle up their emotions, as if it's somehow wrong to have natural reactions to life."

I tapped my fingers on the glass which was cold and dry, unlike the weather outside. The rain tapped spontaneously, each one harder than the next. I shifted my eyesight to view a concentrated Dipper, whom was staring into the misty highway. His hazel eyes gazed at the road, the red backlights reflecting in his eyes as the color collected a small shine in his wet hair.
My e/c eyes fixed onto the road as well, as the rain slammed down on the black and yellow cement ahead. Dipper slowly pulled in, dogging all the bumps and holes. I unlocked my seatbelt and hopped out of the car, my feet falling as the water crashed on me instantly. I shut the door and awkwardly jogged up the stairs and stopped running once I got under the roof. I took a deep breath in letting the thick-misty air into my lungs.
The rooms had a heavy sound of rap music playing, I knew there was more than just one roommate home. They must all be. But how, they hate one another? I unlocked the door, seeing Mabel and Summer sitting, fingers laced with one another, scrolling through their phones as Pacifica was talking to someone on the phone, looking pissed that there was music blasting.
"Fuck." Pacifica cursed under her breath. "Shut up faggots." She shouted shoving past me.
It must have been an important call. I tapped Mabel's knee, looking at her sternly as she pulled away than followed me into the other room. "Mabel what's going on?" I asked. "Why did Dipper visit me? You didn't put him up to this, did you?"
She shook her head, pulling a dum-dum out of her mouth. "Nah. He insisted. There was a bunch of dudes fighting in the parking lot so I stayed here with Summer."
"Oh alright." I nodded taking a deep breath of reassurance. "I have to go." I said walking away and into my room — that I shared with Dipper, shit. I slammed my pillow on my face. My mind couldn't think straight. Everything was racing at mile a minute. I heard the door open, reveling Dipper.
I lifted the pillow and stared at him. His hair was wavy and started to dry it slowly. I stared at how his jawline aligned perfectly with his face, the way his broad shoulders gave him a tone of seriousness but his eyes and mouth calmed you, at first he was just a boy who was awkward but he was anything but now. I smiled a little, as Wild played by Troye Sivan in the background.
"I love this song." I said calmly.
He held out a hand and I took it, him spinning me and slowly started to dance with me to it.
[] I recommend listening to the song while you read this []
(Wild, wild, hey!)
Trying hard not to fall
On the way home
You were trying to wear me down, down
Kissing up on fences
And up on walls
On the way home
I guess it's all working out, now
