It's been a few days that Minji had been crying. Seohyun noticed as well.
"Minji, gwachenh-a?" She asked.
Minji just nodded and continued cleaning the tables.
Seohyun didn't look convinced.
"Minji, let's talk."
Minji stopped and nodded. They both sat down on the round tables.
"What's wrong? I never seen you this quiet before." Said Seohyun.
Minji ended up crying. Seohyun comfort her by patting her shoulder.
"Hey, don't cry." She said.
"I can't help it, Unnie. I...just can't." Minji said.
"Tell me what happened." Seohyun said.
"Minho and I....broke up." Minji said.
"Eh? Waeyo?" Seohyun asked.
"It's for his company. I knew his father doesn't like me." Minji replied as she wiped her tears.
"How can you tell?" Seohyun asked.
"His father doesn't like average girls like me. He likes a perfect women for his son to marry." Minji replied.
Seohyun rubbed her arm as for comfort.
"It's okay. He might not be the one for you, but...there's...." Seohyun suddenly trailed off.
Minji stayed quiet.
"Maybe this guy will help." She mumbled.
"What guy?" Minji asked.
"Hm? Nothing." Seohyun replied.
Maybe Jongin will love her as much as Minho. Seohyun thought.
"Minji!!"
The girls looked towards at the door.
"Suzy? What are you doing here?" Minji asked.
"I heard the news. And...." Suzy started crying. Minji walked up to her and she just stared.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know he was your boyfriend." Suzy said.
Minji just looked at her friend, crying.
"But...I'll try to break the arrangement." Suzy said.
"No, don't." Minji said.
Suzy looked at her.
"Minho is a great guy and he's perfect for you, Unnie. You're my best friend and I know you. You never agreed to this, but be happy with him." Minji added.
"But, Minji---" Suzy started but she was cut off.
"Unnie, I moved on and please treat him well." Minji said.
Seohyun stood beside her and looked at Suzy.
"Do as she says, Suzy. Minji means it." She said.
Suzy wiped her tears and nodded.
Minji showed a small smile and hugged her best friend.
"Love him, alright? Even though it's hard, try your best." Minji said.
Suzy nodded and hugged back.
"Ne."
