Chapter 39

Kai and Minji ran to the hospital and went to the receptionist.

"We're here for Bae Suzy." Minji said.
The nurse looked at her monitor and type the name.

"Are you related to her?" The nurse asked.
"Ne. We're her friends." Minji replied.

"She's in room 213."

"Thanks." Minji dragged Kai along with her.

As Minji and Kai walked into the room, they noticed Suzy and Minho, smiling at their newborn baby.

"Hey Minji." Suzy said.
Minji smiled and walked towards the bed. She saw a cute baby boy.

"What's his name?" Minji asked.

Suzy giggled as she looks at her son.

"Choi Min-Hyung."

Minji smiled and poked they baby's cheeks.

"Kyeopta."

Kai walked behind her and saw. He also smiled.

"He a lot like Minho-sshi." He said.

"Thank you very much." Minho smirked.

After that, they all have a laugh.

The next day, Kai was going to open the bakery until he heard footsteps and he knew them.

"What do you want, Sunny?" He asked.
"Just to talk to you." She replied.
"I don't want to talk to someone who pushed my girlfriend into the water." Kai sneered at her.

Sunny smirked and walked closer to him.

"So? You do know that I really want to be with you, Jongin-ah."

Kai scoffed and he was about to walk away.

"What if she's cheating on you again? You might not know what's going on in that cafe of hers." Sunny said.

Kai stopped in his tracks. Just thinking about it, makes him feel uneasy.

"Remember what happened 3 years ago? I can do that again and again, until you're mine, Kim Jongin." Sunny said.

"It's that a threat? And yes I do remember what you did 3 years ago, trying to make an accident on purpose just to ruin our relationship." Kai said.

"Because I knew she was going to die." Sunny said.

"Just stop it. I'm tired of hearing you." Kai said.

"Minji will leave you like before, just you watch." Sunny said.

Kai ignored her and walked away. But in his mind was all negative.

At the cafe, Minji smiled throughout the day as she served her customers. She didn't realize Kai was watching through the window. He sighed and walked away.

Minji glanced at the window and didn't see anything.

"I swore I saw Jongin there." She mumbled.

~That night~
It was raining hard, Minji was dressed up in her night dress as she stared at the window, just watching the rain pour.

Until there was a knock on the front door. Minji was curious, she grabbed her night robe, wrapped around her and walked out of her bedroom.

She went to the front door and opened it.

Her eyes widen in shock.

"Jongin?"

When Kai looked at her, she saw the pain in his eyes. And he's been crying, he suddenly walked in and kissed Minji on the lips, passionately.
