Chapter 15 - Don't Go

Minji avoid Kai for 2 weeks. Because she was still scared and the image kept on repeating through her mind.

Seeing Kai's angry face for the first time...it can be awful.

*ring ring*

"Yeobeosaeyo?" ~Minji~

"Minji-ah?" ~Suzy~

"Oh...Unnie." ~Minji~

"How are you doing?" ~Suzy~

"I should be asking you that." ~Minji~

Suzy let out a stressful sigh, but Minji could tell she was about to cry.

"Horrible. Minho and I haven't talked much." ~Suzy~

"But, what about that night...you know." ~Minji~

"Of course we did. He was drunk after the wedding. Man! I didn't know you have a perverted side, Minji." ~Suzy~

"YAH! If I got married, you and Seohyun will ask the same question!" ~Minji~

Suzy giggled.

"Anyway, I have to go somewhere." ~Minji~

"Okay, I'll talk to you later then." ~Suzy~

Minji nodded. "Ne, Annyeong."

They hung up and Minji took her purse and jacket and went out.

Kai was coughing as he walked into the cafe.

"Kai, what are you doing here?" Seohyun asked.

"Noona, I need lemon tea." Kai replied as he coughed.

Seohyun nodded but she looks at him carefully.

Kai continued to cough.

"Yah! Are you sick?" Seohyun asked.
"Don't worry. Just give me lemon tea." Kai replied and coughed again.

"Arasso. Go on and sit down." Seohyun said.

Kai went to his seat and sat there quietly. Seohyun quickly made him lemon tea and she was worried about him.

"Thanks." Kai said. He drank his lemon tea, feeling the warmth going down to his throat.

Minji came from the back room and put on her apron.

"I'll be right back." Seohyun said to Kai.

Kai nodded and coughed.

Seohyun went back to the back room and saw Minji.

"Minji."

"Oh, hi Unnie." She said.
"Yah, you got to take Kai home." Seohyun said.

Minji froze on her spot. Since they haven't been seeing each other for 2 weeks.

"Wae? Why I must do that?" Minji asked.
"Just do what I say Minji. Look at him." Seohyun replied.

Minji peeked through the door, seeing Kai leaning back. She noticed the dark circles under his eyes.

"I know you two haven't been seeing each other for 2 weeks. What happened to you guys?" Seohyun asked.
