Chapter 9 - Minho and Kai

The next morning, Minji woke up and rushed over to the cafe.

And it was busy.

"Sorry I'm late!" Minji said, running in.

"Minji, there you are! Help me out please." Seohyun said.

Kai was about to enter his bakery shop until someone grabbed him and made him slammed onto the wall.

"You!"

Kai groaned and looked at the guy.
"Who are you?"

Minho scoffed.
"You should know who I am."

Kai looked carefully at him and it recognized him instantly.

"Oh, you're that guy." Kai said.

Minho glared and tighten his grip.

"What do you want?" Kai asked.
"I want you...to stay away from Minji. I don't like to see you near her." Minho growled.

Kai scoffed at that.
"She was desperate, you know. She respects her best friend, who's going to be your wife soon. And you...should know your place."

"I think it's you should know your place." Minho sneered.

"Minho?!"

They both turned to their left and saw Minji.

Minho finally let him go and stared at her.

"What are you doing?!" She snapped.
"Minji....I----"

"Don't even bother." Minji cut him off. She then walked up to Kai and then glared at Minho.

"You better go back. Or else, there will be more trouble for you."

With that said, Minji dragged Kai inside the bakery.

"Gwaechench-a?" Minji asked.

Kai didn't respond back.

"Kai-ya." Minji said.
"I'm okay." Kai said.

Minji looked at him.

"What are you doing here anyway? Aren't you suppose to be at the cafe?" Kai asked.

"I'm on break. I was thinking I should visit you for a while." Minji replied.

"Tsk. You didn't have to do that." Kai mumbled.

"At least thank me for saving your butt." Minji said.

Kai formed a smile on his face for the first time.

"Thanks."

Minji giggled. "You're welcome. And please don't get into trouble anymore."

"No promises." He said.

"Yah! I mean it." Minji said.

Kai chuckled and patted her head, making Minji blush a little.

Minji went back to the cafe and Kai watched her walking back.

His heart was beating so fast all of a sudden. And he doesn't know why.

But he still have Yoona in his heart. But what about Minji?

Kai felt like he's in a love triangle or something.

But Yoona wants him to move on and live a happy life with her. It's what she really wanted.
