A Day on Set

The rest of the car ride consisted of chatter of unimportant things. Until...

"We're moving."

"What!?" I asked, taken aback.

"We...Are...Moving," Ross said, slowly, trying to make it a joke. But it wasn't. I sighed. We had already moved twice in the past year, and I had started school the day before.

"Why? Where?"

"Well, I guess I worded that wrong. Mom and Dad are moving here. We might move to a house near here, if ours isn't big enough, but they're moving here."

"Wow, you really messed that up. Why didn't you lead with that?"

"Dunno. But aren't you glad Mom and Dad are moving here? I can't beat you up anymore."

"Yeah, I guess."

"C'mon, cheer up!"

"Fine, I'm very happy Mom and Dad are coming home," I said as Ross pulled into the parking lot. I hopped out of the car as soon as we stopped. I hadn't been here in about 2 or 3 years, and I was dying to see everyone again. Sure, I had seen them once or twice at parties and whatnot, but not preforming. I raced inside, with Ross walking far behind. I waited at the door.

"Ross!" I whined. "Come on!"

"I'm coming! Calm down!" he told me. When he finally arrived, I pushed the door open and ran inside to Ross' dressing room. When I walked inside, Laura, Raini, and Calum were sitting on his couch.

"Your late," said Laura, not looking up. "Rosie!" she exclaimed when she finally did. I forgot to mention, that's what people used to call me, and I guess she still does because I only saw her so long ago. And Ross probably doesn't talk about me much. Laura pulled me into a hug. Well, she hugged me. I stood there stiff like a board.

"Hi," I said.

"Oh my goodness, you're so tall!"

"You're like my grandma. That's not a good thing." I told her.

"Sorry, I just haven't seen my little Rosie in so long!"

"And I'm not Rosie anymore, I'm Rosannah or Zanni or Zannah. Pretty much anything but Rosie. Too worn out."

"Okay Princess," said Ross walking into the room.

"Hey, Blondie," said Raini. We talked a lot about how we had been while Ross went to hair and make-up. And I'm his little sister, so I had to beat him up a bit, cos, you know, my big brother is wearing make-up. And that is pretty great. Afterwards, they had to go to the set. I sat on the couch and waited for the chatter that told me people were arriving. There was a live shooting today, and lots of people came.

I heard voiced about 15 minutes later. I got up off of the couch and walked out the door. No one was allowed where I was, so I wasn't greeted with any 'why was she in there?' or 'who is that girl?' like I thought. I walked down the long hall and turned the corner to walk up the stairs with the other fans. We all walked in a big group to go sit by the set. A man asked to see my ticket. I told him I had none.

"We can't let you in without a ticket. You have to pay." Ross ran out. Everyone screamed as he walked towards us.

"Hey, she's fine. Let her in, she has no ticket because she's my sister. Can she still watch?" he asked. The man let me in. It kind of made me upset, my brothers and sister have so much power, they con do virtually whatever they so choose while I am stuck hoping they will come to my rescue. But isn't everybody's sibling relationship like that? Probably not.

Since I had no ticket, I could sit wherever I wanted. I sat in the front row next to a girl who was about 8 and her mother.

"Hello," I said. I like to make friends, I guess.

"Hi," the mother said. I was sitting next to the mother, the little girl on the other side of her.

"What's your name?" I asked the girl.

"Sarah," she replied plainly.

"That's pretty. I'm Rosannah. I'm 10, how old are you?"

"8." I was right! She was 8!" Are you here to watch the show? I love this show, do you?" she asked.

"Sort of, I get sick of it sometimes," I laughed. "It's on all the time at my house! My mom likes to watch it."

"Lucky! My mom doesn't care much for it. She likes to watch grown-up shows."

"My mom too. But her son is on it, so she has to watch it." Sarah looked confused.

"Austin; He's my older brother."

"No way!" she exclaimed.

"Yea, way! You can meet him, probably. I'll ask if you want."

"Cool! Sure!" Then, they started taping. Ross did really good! And so did everyone else. After, they all came around to sign things.

"Ross!" I yelled. He didn't look my way.

"Rooooooooss!" I yelled. Nothing.

"ROSS SHOR LYNCH!" I yelled. Nada.

"Oh my God. Ross, would you look at me? I hafta ask ya something!" I said, leaning over the railing.

"What do you want!?" he asked, annoyed. He walked my way.

"This is my new friend, Sarah. Can she meet you after?"

"Yeah, I think so." Sarah's smile got bigger, something I didn't know was possible, it was already so big.

"I can't wait!" she squealed.

A/N Sorry it took so long. I feel like I'm writing this after every chapter, so sorry. If you don't read the comments, you probably don't know why these updates always  so long. I have nothing to write on, only my phone which is very difficult to write on. So I use my twin brother, Leo's. Leo is obsessed  with his laptop, he brings it everywhere and doesn't like me to touch it. He hides it when he is on holiday or whatever and he was recently home for a while, but it was hidden. I found it though! So, sorry for the waits all the time, but I try my best. Thanks for reading, and check out Chels_R5! She writes awesome books!
