"Wow, Zanni! That's really good!" Riker complimented as I showed him my picture of Rex, who was asleep in his bed in the corner. "How'd you do that?"

"I dunno, just look at him and draw the shape and the shading and the details and stuff. Easy," I explained.

"But I did that and..." Riker held up his drawing of what looked like a monster, completing his sentence for him. I laughed. "Hey!" Riker pouted. "I tried!"

"I'm good at drawing and you're good at singing, right?" Riker nodded.

"Right! And I'm also a great bass player, too." I laughed.

"Yeah, and I'm.... I'm a good little sister."

"Yes you are," Riker agreed. "Hey, everyone is coming tonight."

"Who's 'everyone'?" I asked.

"Me, the boys, Rydel, Mom and Dad, Savannah, Courtney, some friends, ya know, the usual."

"Oh, alright. Why?" Riker smiled.

"You'll see soon enough," he said.

I gasped. "Why? Riker! I thought you loved me!" I said sarcastically.

"I do! It's a surprise. Ever hear of that?" I nodded.

"But I'm your favourite, so you should just tell me. So you could be my  favourite back."

"You'll see tonight! Even Mom and Dad don't know!"

"Fine!" I laughed.

"Oh! Gotta go, I'm picking up Savannah and Courtney. Bye!" Riker said, running out the door.

"We weren't done yet," I said to myself, looking at the pictures I had drawn. Too bad.

The rest of the day consisted of playing video games in the basement with the boys and having Rydel do my hair, makeup, and picking out my outfit (sadly, I hate that stuff but I guess it was important or whatever). It was fun having Mom and Dad back again, but I wasn't allowed to do ANYTHING! No jumping on the bed, no fighting Ryland with sticks in the attic, no riding bikes in the house... Ugh!

The doorbell rang and I stayed put on the couch with Rydel and Ellington and Rocky.

"Would you get that, Zee?" Ross called. I groaned and walked over to the door. It was Savannah and Courtney.

"Hey, Ro!" Savannah greeted, letting herself in. Courtney gave me a smile and followed Savannah.

"Hey," I mumbled and returned to my seat on the couch. If people were going to be here, I wasn't taking any chances with getting my seat taken. My plans were ripped away from me shortly.

"Zanni, would you let Courtney sit there until Ross comes down? He's not done getting ready," Riker explained as he walked through the door, carrying food.

"No, I was here first!"

"Move it," Rocky said. I didn't. Rocky stood up. Phew, got away with that one easily. He came over and picked me up, setting me down a few feet away. I rolled my eyes and ran downstairs to the basement to play video games.

"Hi! How're you doing?" Ryland asked, who was already down here playing video games.

"Not very good. I just wish people would pay attention to me instead of R5 and their girlfriends. I thought having Mom and Dad around would put a bit more attention on us two, because we are their kids too. But I guess not. I know this party is about Riker, but even my birthday parties are. I hate it."

"I know. I wish we got more attention, too. But look on the bright side. If Ross cut his hair, people would be going nuts! Don't you like that you are allowed to change a bit without being judged by everyone?" I nodded. "And weren't you and Riker drawing this morning? If that wasn't attention in your mind, I don't know what is."

"He did for about 5 minutes and then he left to go pick up the girls. He likes them more than me, ya know."

"He does not. He loves you so much, and loves me too. I'm glad we're not famous. It's kinda nice. It means we can play Call of Duty whenever we want!" Ryland cheered, passing me a controller. He was right. It was kinda nice, after all.

A/N

Hey guys! In hospital again, broke my ankle. I got out of surgery late last night. Hopefully I won't break it again. I hope you all have a great day/night!
