Car Rides

Filming was over for the day, which was good because I was getting bored. But we had to wait and wait and wait for Ross to pack up and then talk to some girl I stupidly invited to talk to him. But I had made her happy I guess.

I followed Ross (annoying him a long the way) back to his dressing room. I stood outside (because I'm nice like that) and he packed up and changed. That Sarah girl never showed. We waited and waited and got tired of waiting and left. Whatever.  

"So how's school going?" Ross asked once we were in the car. I shrugged.

"That doesn't tell me too much. How is it, really?"

"Good." I snapped and turned away from him.

"Sorry for asking," he said. "You hungry? It's dinner time."

"Sure," I mumbled.

"Chipotle?" I sat up.

"Yeah!" We got to Chipotle and ordered our food.

"Wanna eat here or in the car?"

"Here," I answered. We sat down and started to eat.

"Why don't you like school?" Ross asked. Couldn't he tell that I didn't want to talk about it?

"I already told you, school's fine." I told him. "I'm not that hungry anymore."

"Something's bugging you, if it's not school, did I do something wrong? I'm really trying now that I know you don't think we spend enough time with you and--"

"It's not you, it's just..." I sighed. "I don't want to talk about it. Can we go home?"

"Yeah, I have rehearsals anyway," Ross said, packing up our stuff and walking back out the door. The rest of the car ride home was silent.

A/N I thought I posted this chapter so long ago! It has been like, 5 sentences away fro being done forever and I completely forgot about it! School has been really hectic, and I have never even been to school before! I'm in a new country on the other side of the world, trying to adjust to going to school after being homeschooled my entire life, and I have to share a room and stuff now. Writing has been one of the last things on my mind. I thought this was already posted; I'm so sorry! And I realise this is super short, if I continued it, it would be about 2 chapters' length and I would rather have two short chapters. Thanks for reading!
