Reminder:

"I wish we could do this more, Riker. I miss you."

"Yeah, about that..."

End Reminder

"We are going on tour."

"When?" I asked.

"Next week."

"Cool! I've always wanted to go on tour with you!"

"No, we're going. R5 and Ryland. Not Rosannah." I sat in disbelief. Of course they were leaving. I get too attached to things.

"Oh. Okay."

"I'm glad you're so cool with this. It's not a big deal. Just Japan and Australia." Their first tour in Australia, my favourite place in the whole world. Sure, I had never been, but that didn't mean I couldn't dream about going there. I didn't think they would ever go. Now they were but it didn't even matter because I couldn't go.

"Oh. I've always wanted to go to Australia."

"I'm sure we'll go again."

"But who will I stay with?"

"That family down the street from us. That boy, Kyle. He's about your age. And, there's a little girl named Brooke. She's really cute, only six. You could help out with her. We'll be gone about a month. You'll be fine."

I didn't say anything back. I'd seen Kyle around, but never really met him. And, I'd have to spend a whole month babysitting a six year old. I was going to be like a slave, probably.

We pulled into the driveway and I got out of the car. I ran into the house so I didn't have to talk to Riker or anyone else. I ran to my and Rydel's room and sat on the bed to see Rydel in there.

"Hey, babe!"

"Hi," I replied, still sulking.

"What's the--" she stopped short. "Oh, Riker told you, didn't he. Don't worry."

"I don't want to stay. I miss you already and look forward to the few minutes I get to see you when you say goodnight to me. What am I gonna do now?" I asked, on the verge of tears.

"Aw, don't be like that. I wish you could come, I really do. But there's nothing I can do about it," Rydel explained, pulling me into a hug. "I'll miss you too, so we can both suffer together." I laughed a bit, but I was still crying. "How about we can Skype each other. The time difference is, like, 10 hours ahead but I'll check the time to make sure I say goodnight to you. And if I miss you, you can call me."

"Okay." I nodded. "I'll miss you. I just wish that I could come with you."

A/N

Kay. I've got some questions.

-Do you think that Zanni will end up going on tour, or just sticking to the plan?

-Will Kyle have some more important meaning throughout the story?

Anyways, I felt bad about taking so long on the last chapter and to make sure it didn't happen again, I wrote this. My hand's healing now (yay!) so that's good and I can type a lot better now. But I bet you're all wondering what happened. Well, I'm a complete klutz. I've had my fare share of walking into glass doors, bashing my thigh into the corners of tables, you know, usual klutz stuff. But this time, I was out surfing at my new house. I had never been before and was stupid enough to not scope out the area before starting. I fell off the board and went under. When I came up again, my hand really hurt. When I looked down, it was all red and bleeding profusely. I guess I cut it on a rock at the bottom. There is a lot that s bad about cutting your hand in the ocean. The salt water really hurts, the sand get in it and kills. And I have anxiety (not bad, but still) so I was petrified of sharks, even though there were none by me in, like, 2 years. Finally, I was home alone for the weekend. I was with Leo (my twin, he's 13 also), Hendrix (my brother, he's 21) Reva and Gracie (2) and Nathaniel (3 months). So nobody really knew what to do. But we went to hospital and I got 9 stitches and it hurt like Hell. That was my week, ha-ha. So, anyways, I hope you enjoyed!
