"Ten!" The crowd screamed. I took Marks hand in mine as the ball began to lower.
"Nine!" He smiled at me as a snowflake landed on his nose.
"Eight!" I brought my gloved hand up and wiped a strand of hair out of his face.
"Seven!" He brought his hand to my cheek.
"Six!" I gazed into his eyes.
"Five!" He whispered.
"Four!" I whispered back.
"Three!" I started to lean in.
"Two!"
"Happy New Years love." I say.
"One!" Our lips meet as the entire world celebrates around us.
