Albus

We follow Justin Comer, a Slytherin Prefect, to the dining hall, after leaving Rose and Alice. Then we all sit down at the table. I sit in front of Scorpius and next to me is Valerie, a 3rd year Slytherin girl.
"Let's just hope you teach that Weasley girl a lesson," a 5th year Slytherin says.
"Yea," Scorpius says and laughs a little. I know Scorpius, and that was a fake laugh the only thing he would do to her is beat her at Quidditch or grades.
I shoot the 5th year guy a glare.
"Right cousin," the guy says awkwardly and walks away.
"Exactly," I mumble and look over at Gryffindor's table and spot Alice and Rose. Alice sends me a smile and I send one right back. I watch as she turns back to Rose and some guys.
"I wonder what their problem is," Valerie says looking over at them.
"You mean the guys not Rose and Alice," I say and she nods.
"It's clear they are annoyed," Scorpius says and starts to stand up.
"Sit," I order and he rolls his eyes and sits back down.
"Rose will probably just punch them in the nose, anyway," Scorpius says. I look around and see a Hufflepuff girl trying to get my attention. She has golden blonde hair and a grin that if you stare at too long you might be blinded.
"Scorp, Hufflepuff 6 o'clock," I say and he turns around at the girl. As a nice person I give a small wave and she waves back.
"Third year and people still freak out about the whole he's a Slytherin and a Potter," Valerie says and rolls her eyes.
"It's not that big of a deal, Lily could be Slytherin," I say.
"Watch her be Hufflepuff," Scorpius says and I let out a laugh. Just then all the first years walk in and McGonagall taps on her cup, like always, and calls for our attention. Then the sorting begins.
Several kids get sorted into Slytherin and we all cheer but I'm not really paying attention. I stretch my neck to see over some people in front of me but I can't see Hugo or Lily. I glance over the first years again cursing because they all look exactly alike.
"Scorpius, do you see Hugo or Lily?" I ask turning around to face him.
"No," He replies after scanning over the kids for a minute. I slump down waiting for McGonagall to call their names.
"Hugo Wesley!" McGonagall shouts. Then I see the little dude shuffle forward looking around in awe and excitement. I see Professor give him a reassuring smile when Hugo sits down.
Then as soon as the hat is placed on his head, "Ravenclaw!" It booms and Hugo shuffles over to the table grinning sheepishly. I smile and clap along with everyone else. I look over at Rose and I see that she is smiling so big that everyone around her is laughing. I see Alice looking at me and I look at her only to see her blush and turn back around. I smile everyone aka Rose thinks we will end up together but I don't think so I like Alice and all but I don't think she really likes me. I think she just acts like that because of all the things Rose tells her about me.
My attention is quickly brought to the first years again when I hear Lily's named call. I see her walk up to the stool proudly and sit down staring every single person in this room directly in the eye. I swear every time that Lily looks in your eyes she can see right into you soul. "Gryffindor!" The hat booms after a few seconds and everyone is a mess. Everyone is clapping and cheering including me. I look over at Scorpius' dumbstruck face at the fact that Lily wasn't put in Huffflepuff, but I just laugh at him.
"Now time for feast!" McGonagall says and we all dig in. The plate is full of drumsticks, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and anything you can imagine. I look over at Rose who has half a chicken drumstick in her face and laugh a little.
"What's so funny?" Scorpius asks.
"Oh nothing," I say with a smirk. I start eating some chicken and mashed potatoes. "I'm going to go over to Gryffindor and congrats Lily and Hugo,"I tell them and walk over to Gryffindor table on the other side of the room. "Hey sis congrats," I say once I get to the Gryffindor table.
"Dad was right the sorting hat does take your choice into thought," Lily says, smiling.
"I'm going go say hi to Rose and Alice," I say and Lily smiles.
"Hey Rosie and Alice," I say and Rose stands up.
"Never ever call me that again," she says and sits back down.
"But Scorpius is fine and you don't mind it a bit," Alice points out and looks at me and smiles.
"So aren't you happy Lily is Gryffindor?" I ask them and they nod.
"Sam was quite happen when I ended up in Gryffindor," Alice says.
"I knew Hugo would end up in Ravenclaw he's a genius," Rose says.
"Speaking of Hugo I need to go talk to him," I say and Rose joins me.
"You like Alice," she says.
"You've clarified that 20 times a day why now?" I ask.
"Because I found out she likes you back,"she says and my eyes widen and I smile.
"Thought so Potter," she said and I talk to Hugo for a bit then return to Slytherin table just in time for dessert.
"Pudding," Scorpius says and stuffs his mouth.
"You are a pig," Valerie says and looks away. Scorpius wipes his mouth and finished off his pudding. Around our 4th helping of trifle pudding the Hufflepuff girl from earlier comes over. She tapes on Scorp's shoulder.
"Hi," she says and Scorp waves.
"I'm Phoebe Krum," she says with a toothy smile.
"I'm Scorpius Malfoy and that's Albus," he says. The last name sounds all too familiar.
"I know Albus but that's besides the point I want to know about you," she says. I look at the girl who I've never seen in my life.
"My father is Draco almost all of my family has been Slytherin, I have a Phoenix feather wand," he says and I look at him like he's crazy.
"Cool my dad is Viktor Krum but he married an England witch and then moved to London to have me. That's why I go here, I wanted to be Gryffindor because dad would be so proud of me  but I got stuck in Hufflepuff and I think you're cute," she says and my eyes widen. Any time would be a good time for Rose to come over and hex this girl.
"Um... Ok then," he says and shoots me a worried look. I signal Rose and Alice to come over here and then get up and slowly walk over.
"You are a great person I was your Potions partner your first year. You and that Rose Weasley's rival was the best. Do you still hate here? Do you have a crush or girlfriend? " She asks like this is an interview.
"Hate is a strong word. You as a Hufflepuff should know. Dislike is more like it," he says.
"Enough about you and Rose-"
"What about Rose?" Rose asks as she stands by me.
"Oh thank goodness, Rosie," Scorpius says and breathes.
"Rosie?" The girl asks.
Rose climbs under the table and pops out next to Scorpius.
"I would be careful using the term Hate Rose and crush in a whole paragraph. Might get things mixed up. And as for you flirting with Malfoy that's another thing. But one thing you should know don't ever call me Rosie? Only two people live to call me that my father and this doofus," she says and points to Scorpius.
"That is true," Scorpius says with a grin.
"Whatever," Phoebe says and turns around and leaves. Rose takes out her wand and cast a spell.
"Rose what did you do?" Alice asks with big owl eyes.
"A hex," she says grinning.
"Why aren't you in Slytherin?" Scorp says happily.
From a distance I see Phoebe looking like her mouth caught on fire.
"Pepper breath," I say and Rose nods.
"My little Rosie is growing up," Scorpius says and Rose hits his arm.
I look over at Alice to see she's looking at me and we share a smile. Then they have to go to their dorms. So we say our goodbyes and are escorted to our dorms by the Slytherin Head Boy. But I still can't get Alice's smile out of my head.
