Albus

Great. It seems that everyone is turning against me, Rose and Alice won't talk to me and Scorpius and I got in a fight yesterday. I don't understand what's going on. Ever since Jane asked me to help teach her how to fly on a broomstick everyone has been really awkward around me.
Today I serve detention with Professor Longbottom. As I make my way into the greenhouse I see Alice talking to the Professor outside by the womping willow. I watch them hug and watch as Alice jogs back to the school.
I sit down as Professor walks back to the greenhouse.
"Mr. Potter we need to discuss an important matter that has come to my attention. And I am not talking about the fight that happened between you and Mr. Malfoy." He says looking angrily towards me. I lean back in my chair, it actually seems like Professor Longbottom, the calmest person that you will ever meet is mad.
"What is this matter sir?" I ask unable to keep my curiosity away.
"Alice," he sighs.
I am shocked. What could I have done to Alice. Sure I kinda avoided her for two days but it's not like I'm hurting her. But that's what Scorp got all mad about.
"It has come to my attention that you have been tampering with my daughter's feelings. And have been avoiding her for a few days, is this true?" He asks slowly looking at me with his eyes shining with anger.
I gulp. Who knew this guy could actually be intimidating?
"No sir. I-"
"Stop. I know your lying. Three people have brought this matter to my attention, I will not mention who but they have talked with Alice about this and brought it to me. If you intend to hurt my daughter don't. She has many people that care about her and would do anything to protect her. I would advise that you make sure that none of these 'other arrangements' are getting in the way of her happiness," He says straightening his posture and walking towards the door. Three people- Rose and Scorpius for sure but who could be the third one?
"For the remainder of the day you will clean all of the shelves and walls in all of the greenhouses. Lunch and dinner will be brought to you while you work, good luck." And with that he leaves.
I sigh and glare at his retreating back as Scorpius walks in and he explains the same thing. Soon we are left to our tasks.
"I can't believe you. My best mate turning against me like that," I say before I can stop myself.
"Will you just shut up? No one asked for you to hurt Alice, no one asked for you to be such an oblivious person, and definitely no one asked for you idiotic input!" Scorpius snaps at me turning around sharply to glare at me before returning to washing the window like walls. I just stand there in shock. So Alice is upset and apparently I'm the reason of why she's hurting? What did I do wrong? If things don't work out between us then maybe I might start seeing Jane, she is fairly pretty in my opinion. But that's beside the point. I don't want to hurt Alice. Or lose me friends but it isn't the easiest thing just to make her forget whatever she saw that made her think I was cheating on her.
"Hey Albus! There you are I didn't see you at lunch and got worried," I hear a few hours later as I finish scrubbing the door to the third greenhouse. I turn around and notice Jane setting down her bag on the grass and walking towards me.
"So what are you doing in here? Don't tell me that it's because of that Malfoy boy who punched you," she says nodding towards the bucket filled with soapy water.
"Sort of," I trail off with my mind wandering.
"Awe that is totally unfair! He threw the first punch he deserves detention not you," she says straightening some of the potted plants. I roll my eyes as she moves closer.
"Albus?" She asks.
"Hm," I grunt as a response and drop the sponge into the bucket.
"Why do you keep thinking about Alice, it's obvious she's mad at you why don't you just call it quits," Jane sighs adjusting some books on a stool.
I start to shake my head but I stop as she quickly moves towards me and presses her finger against my lips.
"Shh someone's coming," she whispers followed by a soft thump.
"I think they left Al," she says taking her finger away.
"Jane w-" I'm cut off as she kisses me lightly making me pause. She smells like chocolate.
"Umm excuse me?" I hear a voice say from behind us.
I quickly spin around only to see on very angry blonde friend of mine.
"Alice I-"
"Don't Albus. I was hoping that my supissions were wrong but I can clearly see that you are indeed cheating on me," Alice says, tears starting to form at the bottom of her eyes.
"Alice it's not what it looks like! I swear!" I says starting to move towards her not noticing Jane's hand holding my arm.
"I'm not so sure about that." She says narrowing her eyes at me. I can't help but shiver. I've never seen Alice this angry. You can almost see the anger radiating from her body.
"Petrificus totalus," she says pointing her wand at Jane and I before turning to leave.
"We're done Albus." Is all she says before leaving. I stand there in shock and dread as I realize I can't move. I can't move at all. This isn't going to end well.
The rest of that day Albus spent his time avoiding everyone and everything after finishing his detention. Scorpius went to the library to see Rose to tell her what happened after He ran into Alice who spent the rest of the day in the Girl's Dormitory and Gryffindor Common Room who immediately told him exactly what happened. Rose spent her day fuming from her cousin's idiocy. Allison though had never been happier. Her pawns were falling into place.
