Rose Weasley. Something is wrong with that girl. She needs to sort out her priorities. She's suspects the slightest movement and acts on it. Accuses me of being loyal to Allison because my father was forced to become a Death Eater. She's absolutely unbelievable, that girl. She thinks she can rule the world.
"Scorpius, you ok?" Albus ask and I nod.
"Why didn't you tell Rose the truth before she acted on it? You know that girl sees a fly move and thinks we are all going to die," I says and set my book down from the library.
"Scorpius may I remind you she's my cousin," Albus says and I sneer.
"She practically hates you, mate!" I shout.
"We are family it can't last long," Albus says. "Does Weasley know that?" I ask and he shakes his head. "Al just go talk to her," I say.
"You're right I should," Albus says and disappears. I pull out my Charms book and start practicing. Exams are coming up soon and I can't fail.
"Wingardium Leviosa," I say and the book levitates in the air.
"Hey Scorpius," a perky voice says and I lose concentration and the book makes a loud thud. "What do you want?" I groan.
"I just wanted to let you know I understand that you like Rose," Phoebe says twirling her golden hair.
"You're funny. I hardly even speak to Rose," I scowl.
"Oh, what happened?" She asks nicely and takes a seat in front of me.
"She snuck into the Slytherin common room to see what Albus and I were talking about and to see if Allison is out to get us. She's trusting her instincts, sometimes they are right others are wrong," I explain and she nods.
"How did Rose get in anyway?"
"Ani- she stole some polyjuice potion."
"Oh I didn't know Professor Chang had any."
"It was hidden and Rose knows her spells," I lie and bite my lip.
"Scorpius, I'm sorry for any thing I've done to make you hate me. I just want to be your friend now because I think you need one," Phoebe offers and smiles.
"Yea, I'd love to be mates," I say and she smiles.
"Could you help me with the levitation spell I'm rubbish at it?" She asks and I nod.

"Malfoy!" A familiar voice spats after a short time practicing with Phoebe.
"Rose, you need to chill out," Albus's voice rings.
"Rose, please don't do this," Alice pleads and a fiery red head with too many freckles to count and icy blue eyes steps out from all the book cases with Albus and Alice behind her.
" 'Ello Albus, Alice," I greet.
"Oh shut up," Rose spats and turns to Phoebe," You're friends with her now. Malfoy you can't stand the girl."
"I've changed," Phoebe says and Rose let's out a hysteric laugh.
"That's truly funny," Alice adds.
"I even agree with them. Scorp what happened?" Albus ask me.
"I take people's word. I take it she's changed because Weasley changed too," I say and I can see Rose boil with anger.
"What? You want to duel? Because you have just been pushing too many buttons now," Rose threatens.
"Yea Weasley I do. But because I was only in here a few minutes with Phoebe?" I ask.
"It was all of Transfiguration you numpty," Rose shouts. I walk over towards Rose and we both take 10 paces.
"Go!" Alice says.
"Stupefy!" Rose shouts and I return with," Protego! Petrificus Totalus!"
"Protego! Titillando!" She shouts and I start laughing as I'm being tickled all around by an invisible force.
"Expelliarmus!" She shouts and my wand flys into her hands and I laugh till my sides hurt and the hex wears off.
"Where did you learn those?" Phoebe ask. "Hexes and Jinxes from Malfoy and my Auntie Ginny. Spells my mum, hasn't been a spell invented she can't do," Rose snaps and then hands back my wand.
"Maybe you should get a watch," Rose says and her and Alice leaves.
"Maybe you should mind your own business!" Phoebe shouts and Albus helps me up.
"Sorry about her mate. I tried to stop her but you know Rose," Albus says and I brush myself off.
"I've had a bunch of rows with Weasley I'll be fine. Besides its not like we're friends anymore," I say and feel a twinge of guilt.
"You ok?" Phoebe asks and I shrug.
"Just need some fresh air," I groan and Phoebe nods.
"I'll come with," Phoebe says.
"No I need to be alone," I say and Al follows me out.
"Albus," I say.
"Scorpius I've been your best friend since 1st year. I know you like Rose," Albus says and I turn around.
"No I don't. Rose is Rose and I'm me," I say. "Whatever you say Scorpius. The way Rose's raises her eyebrows and gives a tooth grin when she's confused," Albus says and I smile a bit than frown, "You know you like her mate. Why are you trying to deny it?"
"I need a break from Rose and from everything. I'm going to give Phoebe a shot," I say and Albus smirks.
"That'll last 5 minutes," Albus says and I roll my eyes.
"You're the guy who's ok with his ex dating his brother," I say and we chuckle.
"Good to see you lightened up mate. And Alice was always just a friend. It was both of our first relationship and it wasn't what we felt right if we broke up that easily," Albus explains.
"I'll be   by the Black Lake," I say.
"Rose's favorite place beside the common room and library," Albus noted and I roll my eyes. I adjust my bag and walk down the grand staircase. I walk out to the court yard and make my way to the Black Lake. I sit down on the shore and put my feet in the water. Then I grab a my book out and start reading.

"Hey Scorp," a perky voice says and drops down besides me.
"Hi Phoebe," I say and put my book up.
"It's almost dinner," Phoebe says.
"Do you believe people can change their parent's image and change quickly?" I ask and she scrunched her eyebrows together.
"Of course I changed quickly. You changed your parent's image. But some people can't. Alice is always going to be dorky and as clumsy as her dad," she says.
"Don't talk about Alice like that. She's a genius and is the kindest person I know," I snap and she scrunched her eyebrows together.
"Ok that's touchie. Rose, she's bossy like her mother, emotional rage like her father," she says and continues.
"Don't talk about Weasley like that," I mumble. "What?" She asks.
"I'm going to dinner," I snap and walk rather quickly to the Great Hall.
"You look angry," Valerie says and I take my seat.
"What's wrong mate?" Albus ask.
"How does it feel when someone talks about Alice or Rose in a bad way?" I ask Albus.
"I get angry. Rose is my cousin and Alice is her best friend. I grew up with them," Albus says. "Scorpius tell me you didn't punch someone," Valerie asks.
"I didn't. Nothing happened. I read my book and that's it," I say and they slowly nod.
