Dawson pov
Shift was finally over. Matt and I were excited to go home and see our girl but also had to figure out how we were going to get sleep. We came up with a plan one person sleeps for four hours as the other one watched Desiree and after every four hours we switched. When we got home Antonio greeted us silently with the baby monitor in his hand. He told us he just got her to sleep. We thank him for babysitting. Then i grabbed the monitor Matt and I went upstairs to see our baby girl peacefully sleeping for a minute. Then we went to our room and got into bed. He wrapped his arms around me and I got comfy in them. He kissed my head and said" I love you, sweet dreams." I whispered back " I love you too." Within seconds we both fell asleep with the baby monitor on the end table next to the bed. We were so exhausted from shift.
