About five minutes later Will came back in to do the ultrasound. I stood by Gabby and held her hand. I asked " Is the baby okay?" Will said " The baby looks fine and the heartbeat is nice and strong but we need to figure out the pain in her back because its too early for Braxton hicks contractions which is false labor." " Gabby do you think you could lay on your side so I can examine your back." She nodded yes. I said " Here Gabby I'll help you." I helped Gabby onto her side and stood by her trying to keep her calm. Will said " Alright Gabby I need you to bend your knees just a little bit. Ok that's good just try and relax you are just going to feel my hand. I'm just feeling for the cramping but if it hurts to bad you stop me." Will began his procedure he was doing. Will said " Matt can I talk to you a minute in the hall." He put the hand rails up on the bed so Gabby could stay on her side and wouldn't rolled out of bed. I told Gabby I would be right back that I would be right outside.
