I forgot to call chief to give him a heads up about Gabby not being able to come in for a while.
Phone call
Ring. Ring.
Chief: Hello.
Casey: Hi chief it's Matt Casey. Sorry to bother you but I just wanted to give you a heads up. Gabby had some complications with the pregnancy today and I had to take her to the hospital. She is fine and so is the baby. But Will, Jay Halstead's brother, wants her on strict bed rest until her next ultrasound appointment in a couple weeks. He said he send her working papers over to you. But I will be in next shift I'm going to have Antonio or my sister stay with her and Desiree while I'm on shift.
Chief: okay thank you Casey for telling me. She will be excused from shift and I will call in a sub PIC until she returns. Send her our thoughts and love.
