Taylor's POV
It's Christmas Eve, I'm beaming with happiness and excitement. It's Finley's first Christmas!!!! I'm way more excited than him. He's only about 7 months-ish. Either way, I bought him an adorable onesie that is an elf suit.

"Finley, it's Christmas Eve," I tell him when I set him in this seat, I brought, it sits him up, it's like a booster seat from babies and I can set it anywhere. Currently it's on the counter. He makes cooing and happily sounds. I smile at him when I look up from making lunch.

"So after this, I'm going to go get dressed and clean up the apartment a bit. You are gonna take an afternoon nap," I talk to him like he can and will respond.

After I get him to nap in a portable crib, I put up in the family room, I went to the bathroom down the hall from my room and showered and got all ready to go to my parents tonight. Next, I picked up and cleaned the apartment. I only dusted and picked up the toys we had laying around. The apartment isn't that big or dirty. It's a two bedroom, two bathroom, a kitchen, and family room, plus a few small extra closets.

I packed over night bags for me and Fin. He had lots of clothes, a few toys and the necessities. I have clothes for tomorrow, PJs, chargers, camera, and wrapped gifts. I need to get Finley ready for church, that's gonna be a challenge.
I add to the diaper bag, more like cute school backpack, with quiet toys, binkies, his special blanket, and a pair of pajamas.

I hear him crying and walk over to the crib. I pick him up out of it, cradling him I walk to the kitchen, it's around 3. We have to be at my mom's at 4. So I have 40 minutes to get him in his Christmas outfit. It's adorable, it's a little onesie with bottoms. The top says Santa's Helper. Plus I have this coat about as sea blue as his eyes. It's just so adorable.

"Hey Fin, let's get you in some Christmas clothes," I say walking in to his closet. I put him down on the changing table as I take the clothes off the hangers. I watch him try to stick his foot in his mouth, then try his fist next. I undress him, change his diaper, then put his Christmas clothes on. I pick him up and set him on the ground. I walk out to the kitchen, and grab the car seat from the table. I get his fuzzy blanket from the bag. I go get him from the floor in my room, he's become very mobile.

I strap him in the car with a blue fuzzy blanket. Then I locked the car, and went upstairs for the presents. I put them in big trash bags and hauled then down that way. I stuck them in the back and drove to my mom's, while singing Christmas songs all the way there. I bet Fin is getting very annoyed with my constant singing.

"Let's go guys," Dad shouts.

"Coming, I'm here, and I'll be there," is the shouts I hear through the house as we all get the last things ready to go to church. Me personally, I'm ready, the little baby in my arms isn't.

"Mom can you grab the blue and brown backpack from the door," I yell as I clip the last strap on car seat.

"Yeah, honey, do you need anything else," she says walking in to the kitchen.

"A nap," I say jokingly, not really.

"Aww honey, just take a nap when he does," Mom says.

"Ok," I say.

After church, which was terrible. Let's just say never take a baby to church unless it's sleeping. I spent most of church walking around the back.

We came home and had steak. It was delicious, they were tiny steaks wrapped in bacon. Muy delicious. Plus we had baked potatoes, I mashed some and fed that to Finley he seemed to enjoy it. He really wants to feed himself, but last time I let him. It was in the bowl to on the wall.

Also he started teething, which makes him more made and upset, perfect for church, not. Now we are watching previous Christmas videos. Starting from my first Christmas to last year. Some of the Christmases were as good as others.

After the last home video, we got out my camera and my parents, set them on stands. One pointing at the couch and one on the couch. It's a tradition to open one give on Christmas Eve, starting with the youngest.

"Finley, come here baby," I say getting his attention and opening my arms. He crawls over to me, I scoop him up. Then sit on the ground criss-cross with him in my lap. He smiles a bit. Mom hands me a bag, that looks like it's for Finley.

"Here, pull this," I say pulling a little on the tissue paper. He pulls on the paper, ripping it. He keeps going as my dad videos. I must have a giant smile watching him happily rip up the paper. The present ends up being this singing, light up, moving ball toy. Just great, notice the sarcasm, that things gonna be singing all day, not sarcastic there.
He ignores the actually present and played with the paper ripping it to shreds.
