When Worlds Collide (a Harry Potter and Percy Jackson fanfic)

The Prophecy

Chapter Four.

Annabeth

After my little talk with Percy in his cabin last night Ive been really concerned. Percy seemed fine during capture the flag but then suddenly he was acting really strange.

Then at breakfast he didn't eat anything. Halfway through breakfast he stood up and went up to Chiron not caring that everyone was staring at him.

Him and Chiron had a brief whispered discussion before Percy left the dinning pavilion. I looked at Chiron and we had a silent conversation

"What was all that about." I ask with my eyes.

"Council meeting after Lunch, you'll find out then."

I nod and quickly finish my breakfast before going to look for Percy. I check the Pegasus stables, the swords arena, the big house, his cabin, and finally the lake.

I find him under the water sitting with some nymphs and trying to free a sea creature from a net.

I sit on shore and wait for about twenty minutes before he comes back up.

"Oh hey Annabeth." He says smiling as he steps out of the water completely dry.

"Did you have fun saving the fish?" I ask chuckling.

"No the darn thing wouldn't stop calling me 'Lord' and 'Master', it was annoying." He says plopping down beside me. I laugh and slip my hand into his.

"So what were you talking with Chiron about?" I ask hoping he'll tell me.

"Just that we need to have a counselors meeting today." He says looking at the water. I nod and lean my head on his shoulder.

We stay like this in silence just enjoying each others company before we get interrupted by Thalia.

"Chiron told me to come get you guys, the meeting is starting now." She says out of breath. We nod and stand up. We make our way to the big house to find everyone waiting for us.

"Good now that everyone is here we may begin." Chiron says as we sit around the ping pong table. "I believe Percy has some news to share with us?" Chiron says looking at Percy.

Percy nods and opens his mouth to speak.

Percy

I tell them about my visit in the woods with Hera not leaving out a single detail, if I've learned one thing it's every little detail helps.

"So Hera wants us to unite with wizards?" Clarisse asks. I nod grimly.

"I thought wizards were extinct." Annabeth says looking to Chiron.

"Like the mist, mortals -or muggles as the wizards call them- can't see magic and the threats they face, plus they live in London so naturally we would never cross one here in America." Chiron explains, Annabeth nods.

"So now Percy just needs to go find Rachel and receive a prophecy." Nico says. Chiron nods and turns to me.

"Go, the meeting will continue once you return." I nod and kiss Annabeth on the cheek before leaving to find Rachel.

Naturally I find her in her cave.

"Hey Rach, Chiron sent me to get a prophecy." I say sitting down.

Suddenly Rachel goes still and green mist comes from her mouth.

"Seven must travel to the place of magic and spell

To unite with new faces left alone to dwell

Together you must travel to face two old foes united once they fell

Dark things are stirring no one hero can defeat

The dark lord and Titan king will wreak"

A catch her as she collapses and lay her down before heading back to the meeting to give them the new prophecy.
