Water and Lightning

Chapter Seventeen.

   ~Thalia's POV~

"Guys for the last time, I'm fine." I say getting annoyed as everyone fusses over me. "We have bigger issues here." I say pushing everyone away as they check for injuries on me.

"I never thought I'd say this but Thalia's right." Clarisse says grimacing. "We still have to kill the Ampisbaenia."

"And get back to camp alive." Nico says, always the optimistic one.

"Right, we need a plan." I say, "Any ideas?"

"Maybe we split up into two groups, a group in the front and a group in the back." Piper suggest shrugging.

"Will it work?" I ask looking at Percy. None of us ever say it but he's definitely the leader of the group.

"I'm not sure." He says. His eyebrows scrunch together as he thinks hard. "I got it." He shouts at the same time Harry shouts,

"I have an idea."

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Percy asks him looking hopeful, probably because he has help.

"Depends were you thinking that the demigods split up like Piper suggested and the wizards stay from a distance or on our brooms and fire spells at it?" Harry asks smiling. Percy nods and smiles.

"Ok so Annabeth, Nico and Leo are with me in the front. Thalia, Clarisse and Piper are in the back. Thalia you are in charge of your group." Percy instructs us demigods then turns to Harry and nods. Harry must have gotten the message cause he nods back and steps forward looking at the wizards.

"Hermione, Ron and Lilly you guys are on the ground. Me and Ginny will take the air on brooms. Fire whatever curses, hexes, and spells that you can think off." Harry instructs. It's easy to see that he's the leader of the wizards. Him and Percy are alike like that. They both are natural leaders.

Everyone nods and we all mount either our brooms or Pegasus. We wait for Percy and Harry's instruction before leaving the roof top and landing on the ground near the Amphisbaenia.

   ~Harry's POV~

Me and Ginny fly over the Ampisbaenia thing and fire spell after spell at it. Sadly it doesn't have much effect on it but one of Ginny's spells hit it and caused it to freeze just long enough for Clarisse to stab it with her spear. It got electrocuted but sadly the thing is so big it didn't die it only was dazed for a few seconds. That's why I chose Ginny to be with me in the air. Not because she's my girlfriend but because she's amazing with hexes and spells plus she's amazing on a broom.

Just as I think this I see her swoop low and hit the Amphisbaenia with a hex that shrunk it a few feet.

I smile and start firing spells of my own.

I fly and shoot spells at it I see Percy launch Annabeth into the air. She lands on the front head and stabs its eye multiple times before doing a flip off and landing bye Percy. The thing makes a horrible shrieking noise. It squirms around for a minute, shakes it's front head and then regains it's composure.

Next I see Thalia shoot arrow after arrow at it while Clarisse and Piper slash and stab at it.

This thing is huge it it's gonna take forever to kill.

   ~Percy's POV~

As I fight with Riptide out of the corner of my eye I keep seeing two water towers which give me and idea.

"Annabeth can you hold things together here for a couple minutes without me?" I ask Annabeth who nods and looks at me confused. I simply point at the water towers and at Thalia hoping she gets the message. I whistle and Blackjack swoops down. I jump on his back and land on the other side by Thalia.

"Thalia!" I shout to her.

"What?" She ask firing an arrow.

"I'm going to control the water in those water towers to drop on this thing, when it happens I need you to summon lightning and electrocute it." I explain my plan. She nods and tells her group to retreat so they don't get shocked or soaked. I tell the same to my group and then land by Annabeth again. Blackjack flies off and I close my eyes and concentrate on the water. The familiar pulling sensation in my gut comes and then the water towers bust. I quickly control the water through the air and finally drop it on the Amphisbaenia. At the same time Thalia summons lightning.

The thing shrieks as it gets electrocuted and the water fills into it's mouths. Finally the tug in my gut is gone and so is the water. Now all that's left is a massive pile of monster dust which gets carried away by the wind.

I see Thalia stumble around a bit, tired and drained from summoning lightning. I feel the same from controlling the water. My vision begins to blur and I see Thalia fall and most likely pass out before I too go unconscious.
