Chapter Thirteen.

~Percy~

In the days that followed our wizard friends were busy with the piles of homework the teachers were handing out and our deadline was becoming closer and closer. We only have two weeks left until Christmas break -the day we leave Hogwarts to go back to Camp Half-Blood.

We have the Gryffindor house as allies and we have the Ravenclaw house thanks to Nico befriending the prefect Lilly Ruwwe.

Thalia, Clarisse, Annabeth, Piper and Hermione are going to talk to the Hufflepuff house soon while me, Nico, Leo, Ron, and Harry talk to the Slytherin house.

Harry and Ron are convinced that its hopeless to ask the Slytherins for help. Apparently there isn't a witch or wizard who doesn't go bad in Slytherin. Most of the Slytherin students are the kids of death eaters so most if them will help Voldemort and Kronos. Despite all this us demigods refuse to give up and insist that we try.

"So I was thinking during lunch we talk to the Hufflepuff's and the Slytherin's." Thalia says and Annabeth is quick to agree.

"Ok, hopefully all goes well and we can return to camp successfully." I say leaning forward in the arm chair next to the fire in the common room.

"Yeah and after that the wizards just have to befriend the Romans and then help us defeat Voldemort and Kronos." Nico says making it sound easier than it is.

"Right hopefully we defeat them and don't die." Leo says completely serious.

"Way to be optimistic." Piper jokes elbowing him in the ribs. He rolls his eyes before Harry, Ron and Hermione come in.

"Where have you guys been?" Ron asks sitting on the floor and resting his back against the sofa.

"We've been sitting here talking." Annabeth says closing a book about the architect of Hogwarts. "Why?"

"You missed herbology." Hermione says looking really concerned.

"Wait so its lunch time?" Thalia asks sitting forward in her seat. Hermione nods and Thalia stand up.

"We have to talk to the Slytherin's and the Hufflepuff's." She says. We all nod and leave the common room heading for the grand hall.

When we get there we split up, the girls head to the Hufflepuff table and us boys go to the Slytherin table.

"What do you want?" Malfoy -a jerk boy in Slytherin who happens to be the son of a death eater- asks standing up causing all the Slytherins to look at us with sneers on their faces.

"Listen we're here for two more weeks and we only have Gryffindor and Ravenclaw as allies. Wether you like it or not we need to work together to overcome Voldemort and Kronos again." I say getting straight to the point.

"And why would we help you?" He asks putting emphasis on 'we' and 'you'.

"Because if you don't the world as you know it will come to an end." Leo says. The Slytherins begin whispering nervously.

"If you help us we can defeat Voldemort once and for all." Harry jumps in.

"And Kronos." Nico speaks up.

"And how exactly do we do that?" Malfoy asks.

"By working together." I say looking at him waiting to see if he will fight with us or against us.

~Annabeth~

"So will you fight with us?" I ask after explaining our predicament.

After much discussion the Hufflepuff students nod and we begin planning.

We decide that we will all get together so we can teach them about the Greek and Roman gods and they will teach us some things about the wizard world.

After a few more things are discussed we -meaning Thalia, Piper, Hermione, and I- head back to the Gryffindor table after spreading the word to the Ravenclaws about meeting to learn about each others worlds.

"So?" Percy asks sitting next to me.

"Hufflepuff is in." I say smiling proudly.

He nods before speaking again. "We got most of Slytherin."

"What do you mean most?" I ask raising my eyebrows.

"There are a select few who refuse to help us." He says motioning to Malfoy and his two idiotic friends -crabbe and goyle.

I roll my eyes and rest my hand on his shoulder.

"Percy who cares if they refuse to help us, I mean who needs them?" I say trying to cheer him up."we can win this war without them."

"But what if we can't!" He asks exasperated. "What if Voldemort and Kronos are to powerful for us to beat?"

"Percy just us Greek demigods beat Kronos, and the wizards beat Voldemort too. So working together plus the Romans we can and we will beat them and win this war." I say determined. He nods and stands up.

"I'm not very hungry, I think I'm gonna go for a walk." He sends me a half hearted smile before turning and leaving the grand hall.

(A/N) SORRY ITS A BIT SHORT BUT I NEEDED TO UPDATE. I'M BABYSITTING TOMORROW BUT I'LL TRY TO UPDATE. THE NEXT CHAPTER WILL HOPEFULLY BE BETTER THAN THIS SHORT CRAPPY ONE. PLEASE COMMENT SOME IDEAS FOR THIS STORY AND MAYBE EVEN SOME GREEK/ROMAN MONSTERS FOR THEM TO FIGHT AND TRY TO INCLUDE A DESCRIPTION IF YOU CAN SO I CAN USE THEM IN THE STORY. THANKS!
