Hama's point of view
"We nearly die and the 'sanctuary' you take us to is McDonalds?" Asked Victoria, as if she still didn't believe it.
"It was the first place I could think of." Morgan said defensively.
I look around the restaurant and saw a very bored looking cashier paying no attention to us whatsoever.
"What's a McDonalds?" Asked Catherine.
"A fast food restaurant." Victoria answered back.
"Oh"
"Morgan take us back to our dimension." At that we all start arguing that we need rest and food for just one day. Victoria just shook her head and insisted that we leave. We argued even more.
"Fine, fine we'll stay a few more hours to eat and rest." She said digging through her satchel. She pulled out a wad of green paper and went over to the counter to order food.
30 minutes later
It was the bloodiest battle I had ever seen. Across the battlefield lay the broken and limp bodies of the opposing force.
The ground was covered in the color red and the shields of the army lay in discarded heaps.
I was terrified by what me and my friends could do when we showed no mercy.
Then my friends started to clean the battlefield and within a minute not a trace was left of the fallen warriors.
"Hama you do realize your talking about your food like it's people?" Asked Victor sitting across from me.
"Since when can you read minds?" I asked baffled that he could hear my thoughts.
"I can't, you were just talking out loud." Victor replied chuckling.
"If I did do you think I would have said half the stuff I thought I said in my mind." I back. They were all laughing at me, as if I'm certifiable.
'I swear I'm not crazy, well at least not in public.' I thought in my mind.
"Still talking out loud." Morgan pointed out.
After they finished laughing at me, we decided to plan the coming war. We talked for ten minutes, then the door to McDonalds opened.
A girl walked in, a girl whom looked exactly like Natalie. This day just keeps getting weirder and weirder.
'Strange.' I hopefully thought just to myself.
"One crispy chicken salad, please." She grabbed her order and then she caught sight of us at our table. She started walking towards us, smiling.
"Hey Victoria and Morgan, didn't know you'd be here." The girl said. "And hello people I don't know."
"Hey Paula." Victoria said nervously. "Guys this is Paula from my school, Paula this is Hama, Daniell, Heath, Sebastian, Johnnie, Victor, Catherine, Ron, Joseph and Natalie."
"Nice to meet y'all." She responded. "Did y'all come from a renaissance fair or something like that?" Noticing our armor and weapons.
"Yes." Morgan answered quickly. Paula just looked at him weird and then I saw her looking straight at Natalie.
"Strange, you look exactly like me." Paula said addressing Natalie. "What's your last name?"
"My name is Natalie-" Natalie was then interrupted by Morgan.
"Arrow, Natalie Arrow. Guys we really must be going now." Morgan said hinting very heavily that if we didn't something very bad would happen.
"See yah." Paula said walking off.
