Jean woke up one Saturday morning and put his hand to the side looking for his boyfriend. He touched Marco's arm and looked over at him. He laid there silently for a few moments and stared at the face of his sleeping lover. He finally sat up and leaned over to kiss Marco on the forehead. When he did a small smile formed on the lips of the sleeping boy.

"Good morning beautiful," Jean said smiling.

Marco smiled back. "I'll never get tired of waking up like this."

"Good because I never intend to stop," Jean said, he and Marco rubbed noses together.

"You need to go to work," Marco said giggling slightly.

"Ugh but I don't want to," Jean complained.

"Sorry dear but I don't think that would be a smart idea."

Jean pouted and said. "But I want to stay here with you," he hugged Marco.

"I know but you have to be a big boy now and that means going to work," Marco patted Jeans head.

Jean groaned and five minutes later the two of them finally got out of bed.

Jean got ready for work and Marco made them breakfast. Marco worked as a sort of freelance accountant, he worked for small time businesses and he enjoyed interacting and helping the various different kinds of people he worked with. Jean on the other hand worked for a construction company and basically ran the projects. His team was working on an important wall at the edge of downtown.

The two boys ate breakfast together and when it came time for Jean to leave he gave Marco a quick peck on the cheek.

"Do you have any appointments today?" Jean asked.

"Yes, at the pottery shop but I'll be back before you get home," Marco replied.

"Okay," Marco gave him a quick kiss and he was on his way.

On his way out he saw Eren and Levi returning from what appeared to be grocery shopping and Levi looked irritated with his owner. Eren was complaining about their cereal choice not having as much sugar as Eren would have preferred. Jean thought it was funny how close the two of them were. When he dated him, Eren never looked at him as fondly or acted as protective as he did with Levi. Jean figured that Jaeger just finally decided to grow up.

When Jean got into his car something hit him. He remembered that he and Marco had a date tonight, their three year anniversary. This made him think back on the last few years and how much Marco had changed his life, he had always been temperamental but Marco's smiling face always calmed him. They went through some difficulties with Jeans parents being not so supportive of their relationship but Marco's mother was the sweetest woman and always helped and supported the the boys.

There was no doubt in Jean's mind that he loved Marco. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with him. Jean then snapped out of his thoughts as he arrived to the job site. Later, on his break he was talking with one of his men.

"You okay boss, you look a little lost?" Reiner observed.

"Oh, I'm fine I just got a lot on my mind," Jean said.

Reiner nodded in response, choosing not to pry.

"Hey Reiner can I run something by you?" Jean inquired.

"Of course."

"I know you have been seeing Bertolt for a awhile now..."

Reiner's eyes widened in fear but Jean reassured him. "Don't worry I won't tell, besides I'm pretty sure most the guys know anyway you two aren't exactly discreet."
