Jason POV

"So what's up with you and Ryan?" I ask.

"N-Nothing," John says looking away.

"The fuck was that? You just stuttered! You can trust me. You know that, right? What's happening?"

"None of your fucking business!" John snaps.

I look at him shocked. My heart begins to ache, and I frown. Why is he being so reserved? I grit my teeth and slam my hand on the bed.

"Don't yell at me!"

"Then don't disturb me!"

"But you're my best friend, I worry about you!"

"Worry about yourself! You're the one with the messed up life!"

"Maybe I will!"

"You should!"

"I will!"

"We're here! Sorry it took long, Grandma wanted some coffee," Alex says opening the door. John and I instantly stop fighting.

"Hey Grandma!" I greet. I give her a small hug.

My grandma walks to the bed and lies down.

"John! Jason! I'm sleeping in that bed, so get off. Grandma and Dad are sharing, and I have this bed for myself. You guys are going to sleep on the couch bed. Wait, is that okay? Does your boyfriend mind? If he does, then John can sleep with me," Alex says.

"He doesn't mind," I say before John can protest.

John and I extend the bed out and lie down. I turn my body away from him and get my phone out. I don't know what's his stinking problem. Agh, I'm stuck with him for the night.
