~~~~
Justin POV
"Hoser! Hoser! Hoser! Hoser!" I laugh pointing at Jason.
Jason rolls his eyes and laughs,"I don't know what hoser is, so I ain't even mad bruh."
"You're stupid."
"Nah, you're just speaking Canadian."
"What? No! I'm speaking english, stupid."
"Whatever."
"For real though, we almost died! How crazy is that? Just think about it, Jason! Wow, I feel so alive!" I exclaim amazed.
"I know right," Jason says nodding his head in agreement.
We use an Uber to actually go into Iqaluit. The driver was telling us about his problems, and we just nodded. I have my own life to worry about. Throughout the ride, Jason kept on staring at me which kind of got me nervous, er something like that.
"Stop staring. Do I something on my face?" I ask self-conscious.
"Yeah, duh. You have eyes, a nose, eyebrows, and a mouth," Jason says red-faced rolling his eyes.
I sigh and look out the window. Once we get to our destination Jason excitedly jumps out while the car is still fucking moving. Panicking, I get off too.
"Yo, dude, you okay?" Jason says concerned pulling me up.
"Are you crazy?" I ask dusting of the dirt from my pants.
"Yes."
I groan and realize that he's right.
"Are you crazy? I mean, you did the same thing I did," Jason says giggling at the end.
"Sometimes," I answer truthfully.
"Did we even pay the Uber driver?" I ask nervously looking around for a familiar car.
"I don't think so..."
We shrug at each other and walk side by side not walking to anywhere particularly.
"You better not get wasted. You're not even legal yet!" I warn Jason as he glances at the liquor store. If I don't stop him now, he'll become an alcoholic. Jesus, this kid.
"You can't tell me what to do," Jason snaps glaring at me.
"Yes I can."
"You don't own me."
"Whatever, do you want to go to the mall first?" I ask changing the subject.
"Sure."
"Wait, can we get Starbucks?" Jason asks looking around.
"I don't think there's Starbucks here," I say.
"Bummer."
We cross the street and go inside the closest mall. It's warm inside, and I sigh in relief. I was getting a bit cold. Jason takes of his huge jacket and hands it to me to carry.
"What am I your boyfriend or something?" I ask annoyed since I did not want to carry it.
"Yes. Yes you are. Ooh! Can we go there?" Jason says pointing at a candy store.
"Sure, whatever."
Jason rushes in, and I see a worker walk towards him who's around our age. Dafuq he doing? Confused, I go in and quickly go to Jason.
"Justin, what is he saying? I don't understand," Jason whispers awkwardly not removing his eyes from the boy.
"He's speaking French," I respond and Jason scrunches his nose.
A lot of people here speak French in Iqaluit. I talk to the worker in French, and he nods understanding.
"Do you need help with anything?" the worker says with an accent and a bit choppy.
"Nah bruh, I was just gonna hit on you, but I changed my mind," Jason says with a small laugh.
"You were going to hit me? Why?" the worker says alarmed.
"Yeah, why?" I ask a bit annoyed.
"I wasn't going to physically hit you. I meant like flirt aka saying stuff like 'you look so cute' or 'I like your hair'," Jason says trying to explain.
"Oh. You like me?" the French-Canadian workers asks surprised.
"No! He doesn't like you!" I yell furiously.
Jason and the guy look at me with wide eyes. Jason's face turns red, and he bites his lip. I clear my throat.
"We're leaving," I say courteously and walk away quickly with Jason.
Just as we exited the store, Jason shakes his hand out of my grip.
"No need to yell, geez," Jason says covering his face in embarrassment.
"Sorry, I just didn't want him to get mixed signals 'cause you're not gay or anything. He looked like a fag, so I was just watching out for you," I say explaining myself.
"How exactly do you look like a gay?" Jason asks looking a bit offended.
"Feminine features and small body. Stuff like that."
"Well, I'm a bit horny so I think I'll go back to  to have my first gay experience," Jason snaps astonishing me.
I look at him bewildered. Did he really just say that? What is going on?
"Uh, you already had your homosexual experience with me when we, you know...kissed. Plus, I want to spend more time with you since you're not staying here for so long, and your brother Alex might steal you away from me," I protest.
"I wasn't sober. Cmon, I'm trying to live life to the fullest for the first time. I'm a fucking seventeen year old who hasn't even had sexual contact with any one yet except for kissing! Heck, I'm still a virgin. I want to experiment, Justin. It's not like I'm going to have sex or anything," Jason says rolling his eyes at me.
"What? Why are you being so rebellious all the sudden?" I say furrowing my eyebrows in confusion.
"I'm just growing up, geez."
"Didn't we have a fight through Kik one day because you called me a manwhore and I was like 'oh hell no bitch'? Yes. Yes, we did. You practically said that it was sick to throw yourself at people and now you're going to do just that!" I say raising my voice earning stares from people around us.
"I have changed, but just because I don't want you to be mad me, I won't talk to him again. Let's just buy stuff, eat, and get the fuck outta here," Jason says in defeat.
"Good," I say relieved.
