Jason POV

"This actually smells like maple," I say surprised shoving my pillow at John's face.

John kicks me in the shin and I raise my hand to slap him, but Alex breaks us apart.

"What the heck guys? We're entering the resort! Be more civilized!" He scolds us.

"John started it," I protest.

"What? No! You did!" John argues.

"Boys, listen to Alex," my dad say.

We enter and immediately head to the elevator.

"I heard that the elevator was having some problems," I say teasingly to John.

He glares at me and crosses his arm.

"I'm not afraid," he lies.

"Why were you freaking out this morning when we got stuck in that maze then?" I taunt.

"Bitch," John says making my grandma laugh.

"Jerk," I spat back.

"Boys," my dad says in a warning tone.

"What's up with you guys?" Alex asks raising an eyebrow at us.

"I'm on my period," we both say together.

We look at each other in amazement and smile at each other.

"Ayeee what's up my homie?" I say to John swinging an arm around him.

"Nothing dude, how about you?"

The elevator opens and we walk out with our arms around each other.

"You guys are sooo weird," Alex says.

When we find our room, I look at John petrified.

Help me I mouth to John as we enter our room.

I can't John mouths back giving me a sympathetic look.

"What a friend," I say loudly causing my family to give me weird looks.

"Who's going to take a shower first?" my dad asks.

When no one volunteers, he goes to take a shower.

"John, what are you going to do?" I ask stalling.

"Watch T.V," John says.

"What about you grandma?"

"I'm going to sleep," she mutters.

"Hey, Jason, come here," Alex says waving me over.

I hesitantly walk over to him. He pats the spot next to him and I sit down.

"So, we're leaving. Did you say bye to Justin?"

"Oh, we're not leaving. I convinced Dad to let us stay here for a little longer."

"Really? Do you really like Justin that much?"

"What do you mean that much? Do you think my love isn't genuine or something? What are you proposing?" I say acting offended.
