Jason POV

"John, he's not here," I say impatiently. "And we're leaving like in twenty minutes."

I turn around and see John and Ryan talking. I yell his name loudly, and he turns his attention to me.

"I was talking to you," I say.

"Oh, sorry. What'd you say?"

"Never mind," I mumble.

I look out the window and almost blind myself. Holy shit it's really sunny today. I look at my cousins who are leaving with us and see them talking with my family. Kyle notices me and walks up to me.

"Where's your boyfriend?" Kyle asks.

"I don't want to talk about it," I grumble upset.

"You guys broke up?"

"No."

"Then what's the issue?"

"The issue is that I already miss him," I say frowning.

Justin's POV

"In 2 miles you will reach your destination," the gps says.

"You know, your mom will surely be mad when she finds out that you skipped school yesterday and that you're arriving late to school today," Brandon says finally breaking the awkward silence between us.

What? He was my only option. None of my friends can fucking drive yet. And if they can, they have to have an adult with them.

"That doesn't matter to me right now," I say as I fix my hair by looking in the mirror Jason gave me.

"That's a really girlish looking mirror."

"Yeah, kind of, but it looks really fancy and it's a gift from Jason so therefore I like it."

"So when's he leaving?" Brandon asks.

"Right now! He didn't tell me what time and I just...," I put the mirror in my pocket,"can you drive any faster?" I say.

"Shit, calm down. We're almost there. And do you want me to get a speeding ticket or what?" Brandon snaps back.

Soon enough I see the airport where I came to meet Jason for the very first time. I unbuckle and move to open the car door, but Brandon holds me back. I raise an eyebrow in confusion.

"Can I come too?" he asks biting his lip nervously.

I scrunch my nose and say, "No! Why would you want to come?"

"Well Jason and I were kind of a thing."

I instantly glare at him and yell, "No you guys weren't! Jason never liked you or anything! Just stay here!"

"You're not the boss of me. I don't even know why I asked. I'm coming and that's that," Brandon says.

He exits the car and shuts the door loudly. I grumble in annoyance and exit as well.

I run inside and then quickly realize I have no idea where exactly Jason is. I go to get my phone to ask Jason, but mentally face palmed when I remembered that I left it.

"Brandon, can you call Jason?" I ask.

"Nope. He blocked me," Brandon says.

We walk to the check-in counter and the woman asks for our ids. She lets us pass and we go through a security check really quickly. I look at the other lines. Good thing we don't have to wait since we're not boarding a plane. The lines are hella long!
